Ya know...the biggest problem with this mod is that it takes 18650's. Now that I have 18650's....well, think about all the other mods that use 18650's.....

To me, that was the biggest draw. I only use Mods that have 18650's. It's what kept me from ordering the original Vmod. Not a fan of having multiple kinds of batteries.

Actually, let me correct myself. My statement is not entirely true. I do have a pair of 3.0v Tenergy's that I use to kick a "slow" dual-coil's backside on my Silver Bullet every now and again. ;)

But for me, 18650's rock!!

A quick Q:

How charged do the Vapage batteries come? I'm dying to try this out.

And, I'm gonna try the atty first, do I need to prime it from the top, like ordinary atties, or just let the bottle do it's job?

I know they had some charge on them when I recieved mine, but just tested to make sure niether where DOA then put them on the charger, I was lucky in that I had a couple of batteries already to go.

Hey y'all,

I'm having connection problems with the atty and carto both. Do I need to adjust the center pins to make contact?

Or screw them in even tighter (trying not to force it)?

The threads on the XL are very tight on some of them.
Try lubing up the threads and screwing and unscrewing a few times.
You could also take the battery out, and clean the connection threads with some steel wool.
This should ease the tolerances and allow the atty to screw in properly.

Pulling out the pin will work too. ;)

happen to me with 1 or 2 of my atties. they just needed to be pushed down a little further and tightened. i think the bottom lip of the atty's base was caught on the rubber seal. worked well afterward.
