PS: I'm trying to put together a new order for an assortment of atties and cartos from vapage and madvapes (for the XL and other devices), including 5V batts and 3 volts batts for stacking, any suggestions?

Carto's, I would go with the Silo's, I use 1.8's and 2.2's on the OG VMod and love them!! When it comes to atty's I only use one vendor.....IKV:)

OK, for those of you using Io6's or 306's, what resistance are you using with what voltages?
I think that would have to be a personal preference, and what type of juice you use. I myself used to use both styles and found myself using 1.8 ohm on 3.7 devices, only because I find that a SLIGHTLY cooler vape = more flavor for the type's of juice I use. But if I wanted some throat hit when using tobacoo's, then I'd switch up to 1.5 ohm atty's, so again it would be a matter of preference. Remember EVERY vaper is different, that's why we got so many options.

And of course...IKV sells the batts I want, but not vapage or MV....I'll pay shipping 3 times by the time I'm done.
SuperTmanufacturing sells AW batts and Pila chargers... shipping for a couple batts is less than $2. and Dave stands behind his stuff.... +1

Erm, you did what, Kat? Anyway this sounds something nice, so thanks.

Shipping info update: My XL started his looong journey :)

Sorry Ostinato. If you scroll all the way down the page, you'll see a box with "Tags for this thread". Post #774 describes the way that uke modded the cover of the io6 in order to make it a drip tip that works very well. I did a similar mod, and I believe it's described just after his post.

That's really good! :)

The batts I've been using last longer in the XL than they ever have in any other mechanical device I've owned.

I notice that too, AG, the infamous.

As for ohms and volts, I found the 1.8 ohm io6 too warm with only the 3.7v battery. On the other hand, I'm vaping the Vapage 2.2 ohm Silo, on a 5v batt! Go figure.

I'm a dripper, yet I must give a shout out to Brian for these Silos. I'm loving them more and more.

Got a call from Vapage I've been back-ordered: 3 weeks for delivery :(
Oh well.. just wait.
They will give me some free atties for the inconvenience which is better than a kick in the teeth :)

Drat. I just ordered 3 of the 1.8 ohm I06 and only 1 of the 2.5 ohm. I've never used them before. I stick to 3.7 v for now and don't like it too hot, it eats the flavor in VG-heavy juice. The Hybrid Uni at 2.2 is about right for me at 3.7v. Somehow I thought 1.8 ohms would be closer the 2 than to 1.5. Sounds like I'm going to only have 1 usable i06 to try. Drat, drat drat.

Was just checking out the XL, Me like'th alot. Noticed there wasn't an option for 'notify me' when available.
That silver gun metal is a knockout', people will definitely think i'm smoking my lighter'.

One reason to like the form factor: does not look like an analog. :)

Reason two: comfortable to hold.

Reason three: no door to fall off. ;)

OH wow, the cones and replacement cases are freakin gorgeous!. Are those strictly for the regular? or for the xl as well? and if not, are you planning on making them for the xl?

The colored shells are only available on the 14500 Vmod right now.

We are hoping that colored shells will be available later this month when the XL gets restocked.

The 14500 Vmod (Vmod 2.0) will have the leak free feed chamber when it is re-released.

I'm using the 1.5ohm i06 on mine. I like the warm vapor. If you decide to part with the 1.8s I could take em off your hands. They shouldn't be too cool for me lol. Shoot me a PM if that's what you decide. :toast:
