Question for happy users XL:
whether and to what effect tried to use the following atty with XL (I have them a lot and now I do not know whether to buy another if they are ok):
1) standard BOGE attys ~ 3ohm (http://www.nicotinehighway.com/product_images/s/945/510ego-atty__12209_zoom.jpg)
2) Joye SR ~ 2.3 ohms attys (http://www.peleon.pl/img/p/1486-2651-large.jpg)
3) no name bridgeless LR ~ 1,7-2 ohm attys (http://kalamazoovaporshop.com/images/P/Dripping Atty 1.8 -01.jpg
now I use them at 3.7 V, and I'm happy.

And Smilee -- I had a Rev2 also and enjoyed it, too. But it's the little Vmod that intrigues me to this day! The XL is a gem and great addition to my arsenal.....I do love 18650 batteries.
I was thinking you might like to also get the little guy when version II comes out --- it's a great size and light enough that I'm sure some kind of lanyard could be made to work. I put the "leash" from the Rev2 on it by just securing it with the cone.

For those of you that use the 306. I discovered a few days ago that you can carry an extra 306 in the case undrneith the bottle. I just put one in a small bag and stuck it under the bottle so you can carry an extra just in case.

I have been wanting to try this mod for what seems like forever! Anyone know if they are planning on doing a bundle kit like they did the "little brother " Vmod ver.?
I'll try to find the answer on the other (141 pages back)

Yes, they can be sold by weight to Chinese jobbers who have children clean them with Pepsi, wrap them in old electrical tape, paint them, and that's why some "brand new" cartos have a strange taste. I won't even go into the batteries, that's too close to real. Can you say WhatFire? ;-)
@Karmakatie & @Whatitstrue, I tried carrying dimes down there for the parking meter, but then I realized they only took $20 bills ;-)

I've been talking about this for a long time, and they get very angry with me here, that I'm bad-rapping Vapage. But it's the truth, and people shouldn't be breathing bad fumes. It's a Chinese QA problem, not reflecting on Vapage's designs, or the Vmods themselves. Though I've gotten 2 superb atomizers of the Uni non BF type, many of their cartos and atties I got were defective. On the atty it takes the form of loose coils, so sections of the wire glow visibly orange for lack of cooling by the juice, and that decomposes juice. The more VG in your juice, the more Acrolein is produced, and the nastier the burned taste. On the carto it's harder to see. You have to look down the air-tube with a magnifying glass. On a good carto the coil is centered and tightly wrapped around the glass-fiber wick. The wick is stretched across the air-tube, so you can't ever burn anything, like in an Echo. On a bad carto the coil is offset and goes off into the wadding blanket that surrounds the air-tube, and/or there are loose coils again. You get a bad taste from either defect, though the two tastes are different ;-) I have never had good luck with the silos. See below. The atty is incinerating juice as it reaches the orange wire. On the carto you can't even see the coil, it's way off in the wadding, and part of the wire you do see is also loose.
I think it's an industry-wide problem and explains a lot of the variation, and people changing brands. I think people should just return parts that don't work. I'm sure Vapage will exchange them, they don't want you inhaling crap, and they have a good customer service record. For people that are far away, like Smilee, it's great the XL works with just about any carto or atty.

To nie mów im, tak najlepiej. Mimo wszystko, dwu ohmowe Boge lepiej się sprawdzają na 3.7 v, są wręcz niesamowite na XL. Ale trojki tez działają. Tylko ze wszystkie po kilku dniach oczywiscie zaczynają sie zapychać, tak jak na innym sprzęcie. Co do atomizerów, większość dziala bez problemu, bo jest to tak zbudowane, że sok sie dostaje tak czy inaczej. Tylko np. 306 wymagają aby wyjąc taką małą czarną uszczelkę (ta która jest w samej studni, zobaczysz), bo powietrze musi się dostawac do tych górą.

The only thing I know off the top of my head is that dual coil atomizers won't feed properly. There is a list back in the 141 pages somewhere that someone was kind enough to compile, and that was the only thing that absolutely would not work.
