I got one for stealth, backup and pocketability. Love the XL but I rarely will need that much battery or juice on the go.

I like being prepared LOL Seriously, when I am at the range for the day, it's usually from 6am until 7-8pm and I don't get time to refil juice or switch batteries, I wouldn't want to mess with that with my hands covered in gun powder anyway....yuck!

I hear ya, that's why I said "rarely" :) I've got the XL at the ready of course!

I definitely like the BF attys.
Ferand, you sure have added it before, but would you again list the attys and cartos you find to perform best on the XL?

The Vapage 2.2 UNI Hybrid (not BF) that I got with the XL (for 2.2 ohms it's incredibly efficient) is my favorite, but the BF ones I got before were not; it was a lottery. Brian says he's happy with Vapage's atty QA now.

My other favorite atties are the IKV 510 1.8 (with XL inner gasket removed) and Joye LR. The IKV 1.8 i06s vape great, but the lack of suitable thin-walled drip tips, resulting in tight air draw issues, makes them a hassle. Except for the stacked dual horizontal coil type, it seems every 510 atty works or can be made to work on the XL. I imagine something like the .357 would be fantastic.

There's no universally preferred "sweet spot" for 3.7 v vaping, some people want hot 1.5 ohmers, others find 1.8-2.2 ohms a better compromise. The same battery will last over twice as long at 2.2 as at 1.5 ohms.

On cartos my faves are the Boge 2.0 and IKV Platinum LR cartos, which are actually Boges, and the longer-lasting Single coil 1.7 ohm "rejuvenators/resurrectors", whose only disadvantage is the longish barrel and the greater battery drain. All these vertical coil cartos get gunky after a few days, then clog, but until they do, wow! I've tried a lot of brands and types, and even though they last longer and are theoretically burn-proof, I haven't found any horizontal coil cartos that taste as "pure", and that includes the Silos I got.

BTW, who needs pockets? Just carry it in your hand or around your neck ;-)

There's a reason I'm not hot for the little Vmod 2.0, other than the small battery. The little bottle. I went through a lot of bottles developing cracks on the original VMod. The small size brings about a lot of distortion of the joint at the neck. I don't know what they can do to remedy that.

Fernand.....I sure hope they do not develop any of the crack issues of the previous Vmods, if this does happen, I think I would be done with it. I truly hope they have addressed and fixed that issue. I had recieved an original off of classies some time ago, and was less than thrilled with it, leak, spring is super squishy to the point it makes it tough to fire, proprietary atty carto usage, leaks everywhere yeah I said it twice. I will say it does fit in the hand very well....but if you can't use it what's the point lol.
So if the new Line of Vmods both XL and 2.0 continue to work well, I think this thing will be a good option for those on a tight budget and wanting a bottom feeder that is not a plastic project box.

WOW Vapage needs to have someone automate their website;

My secretary returned to the ranch with this mornings mail.....
yep
AMG Hybrids arrived.... so I checked my shipping status on the Vapage website for giggles after reading the thread over lunch.......
says "processing" the order I just received. I'm not complaining...in fact the shipping service was fast....but those anxiously awaiting their VMOD-XL *winks toward smilee* and other products, have no clue as to when the shipment will arrive without a verbal or online chat with Vapage. Now I like Vapage, the product, shipping speed, will buy from them again, and hope the company does well, however, customer communication is HUGE. Providing tracking numbers would alleviate this issue IMHO.

Oh .... As an afterthought while utilizing online chat, asking about the VMOD XL's little brother's configuration before purchasing, I requested a set of orings. They arrived also free of charge!
BONUS:)
