Just a fyi the ava won't work with the vmod the cone won't fit over the ava because it has a lip . If your looking for clouds of vapor your not gona get it with the ava what it does best is flavor but 357s out do it in every aspect if your gona spend that much on a atty do your self a favor and get two hh 357s they are better imo and yes I have tried both

good to hear; i've finally got an order in for HH357 (901 and 510) 1.5's. Had to go with "custom" just to get the order in since they are not in stock today.
I guess I didn't look into these earlier with all the rebuildables that came out in last 6 months. thanks all for keeping the info flowing.

If you use 100% vg juices the custom 357 is the way to go I have a 510 custom 100 % vg I use with bobas and it really makes a diference and I have 1 of his custom 901s for vg same thing it does make a diference

I already got my vmod moded for the kick I just ran a piece of thin sheet metal from the bottom spring all the way up the side and soldered the metal to the bottom spring can't wait to get the kick in the mail

Where did you find a kick, I can't find one in stock anywhere Did I miss them

Nhaler had them in stock at 4 today they only lasted 10 mins they where selling started kits that came with some batteries and the kick they might have them still go check

yeah, nhaler is the direct line to Darwin, so the Kick went to them first.... cool beans.
I'm the furthest thing from a DIY'er, but that Kick set up looks pretty simple; all it needs is a metal to ground the Kick to the metal base under the spring?

Yes all you need is to have a ground I chose to run a piece of metal all the way up the side there is other way you could do it you could tap in to the grond wire that runs up the vmod a solder it there but the way I did is pretty simple all you need is a piece of metal and some solder and some epoxy or super glue to hold the metal to the side of the vmod

Nice. Do let us know how it turns out. It looks great and simple enough to and it looks just like what I thought would work early on.

I'm hoping that will make the appropriate ground connection. Since I read something about the metal feeder mods possibly needing the anodizing removed under the spring (I think I read that), I'm hoping you have enough electrical savy to have come up with a good solution.

I'm not that savy and leave the moding plans to those that are.

Can you explain?

All the metal is doing is ext. The ground from the spring up to where the kicks grounding spring can make contact very simple no tech to it just ext the ground

Brian, you are now "Brain" to me! Thank so much for the AVA info. I had never heard of it before and was quite curious about a 50$ atty. Was there anything you did like about it? I'm not really considering it due to the cost factor, but I would like to know about it.

(Love my HHs btw)
