I received my kicks today................BUT mine does not work in the XL without additional modding :( I took a flashlight apart...well not me personally, and used the thin metallic piece off the sliding button inside to take the kicks itsybitsy ground spring to a ground....voila a variable volt XL :)

I thought I was alone in not having an immediate interest in the Kick. This is so interesting that quite a few are now reporting that they don't want one. I also think that someday there might be a place for one, but for me, not at the moment. I actually found myself shopping for a tube mod so that I could use the Kick. That's just backwards

dragonbone, I think you may have come up with a great new slogan for Vapage.

Make your dog happy! vape a VMOD!
Katdarling, I LIKE it lol, and my doggy and I endorse the slogan 100% :D.
Yes, I found myself worrying about new battery sizes etc. to accommodate The Kick, then I asked myself if I really NEEDED it and WHY... With my kit, I can knock myself out with the right juice and carto on any mod any time I want, or just amp up the volume on my VV devices. I don't need it at all, end of story. Plus it will just make me spend MORE on other things. I want to cut back on spending. I'm happy now and all is perfect.

Yes but you will have a vw bottom feeder for around $100 still cheaper than a reo . I understand wanting to keep cost down I've been trying to do that myself and been doing pretty good at it . If I want some thing new I will sell some thing on the classie it works for me

Good point, Brian. Very good (selling) point, actually. I may have to reconsider as soon as the easiest modding of the VMOD is established. Katdarling does not have a guy at work who can do this for her. (Katdarling does not have a guy! Sob sob.) (just kidding)

Any ideas for modding the Gold Rush for the Kick?

Looks interesting. What size battery is that? Top photo is nice, second OK, but third is just a blur.... Lol. Maybe take the pic from a little further away to start with, then crop it in Photos. Should come out much clearer. I'm surprised though because my iPhone takes CRYSTAL clear pics at close range.

whew....I'm pooped

It's an AW IMR 18490 700mAh battery...........I have only used one thus far .... but not vaping much since I've been pretty busy.

LOL....my iPhone is sooooooooo filthy from being in the barns and pastures...well I guess the case is but the lens must shoot through the case. I'll use a proper camera after a while......and some vodka.......:p

Aw! I met the postal carrier at the mailbox today, hoping he had my Kick. Just some dumb batteries and cartos. New IMR batts are hot off the charger, waiting. Think the postal service will special deliver my Kick tonight when it gets to the local sorting station?? Please??

I already have my neg contact made and in the Vmod XL for goodness sake! I used a piece of thin brass tube (1/2" dia.) I cut a 20mm section, then got busy with the Dremel. I ripped it, stretched it and cut it to fit the half-round battery chassis of the Vmod XL, then cut a notch, leaving a tiny little tab to be pinched between the chassis and neg spring lead just below the turn through to the bottom of the bottle port.

C'mon postman!! I been ready, already!!
