I was thinking of sanding mine, then polishing the aluminum to a mirror finish and clear-coating it. But the truth is that I LIKE the Glock aesthetic. The silver one actually seems nice the way it is. It's starting to get worn from handling, and it's friendly in a zippo sort of way, and the logo is very subtle on the silver, and it matches my ProVari. I might still sand it down once it picks up more dings, but I don't know why people talk about how non-durable they are, mine has taken drops in stride, it's not getting ding'ed at all. The black is cool because it makes it look smaller, but my old Vmod 1 had a nicer shiny black finish like an epoxy. With my black one (yes, I got 2), it's sitting in its box as a spare, but I might have to do something as that Vapage logo is a bit much. The most important thing for the aesthetic for me was gluing some adhesive hard foam rubber inside on the battery wall, I posted a picture a while back, so the shell rests against it and doesn't rattle at all. It makes it feel so nice and ... unified. When you put it in your pocket it's compact and solid like a little Walther Ppk in your pocket ... there I go again. We'll see once they offer the rubberized finish shells, some of those looked nice. A propos the burl
