I would highly suggest not getting the style in the link. they tend to jam up very often. I suggest the style like i pictured because they dont jamb up but they also strip the wire with a bit better action horizontally than the ones in the link.

Ya gotta have good tools. A tool-box/bench that has what you need with good quality, where you can find it, when you need it, is a thing of real beauty. That goes double for tools that you use day-in and day-out. I've always had a very broad view of what constitutes a "tool"; for instance, one of my favorite tools (aside from my metric socket wrench set) is my Japanese vegetable knife.

Just checking in. I have tapped amazing new stores of patience since ordering my Prodigy...that's a good thing, a spiritual exercise practically. Thank you, Steve (sincere, not snide)!
I jumped the gun and ordered genu-ine Tenergy batteries and charger (the correct ones, looks to be the exact same model that ships with the Prods) ahead of time, and have no less than six fully charged batteries ready to roll when I receive my Prodigy full kit.
Now my challenge has been not to run to PureSmoker to order another Prod base kit to go with all the batteries, chargers, atomizers, carts, and juice I have stock-piled up...hmmm, I still might do that. Just as a back up, you know. Plus I fear that the hubby will try the Prodigy and finally say "OK, I'm ready to go PV, now. I want *that* one!"

I just did the same thing. Ordered 12 more batteries and a charger. Probably won't get my prodigy for a while, but I'll be ready

I hope not because mine is 17265 and I was told it would be between 7 - 14 days, but then who is counting?
Not pushing nor complaining. I knew there would be a wait and above all else I have to realize I did it to myself by waiting.

I ordered a Prodigy 801 + a 510 adapter on 6/20/09 (#17089), and I've got my little brain set to wait multiple weeks. I have tons of parts to keep me all set in 510's and the Janty Stick, so I won't be going vape-less while I wait. Actually I would love for the Stick to poop out while I wait for the Prodigy, so that I could get it replaced with the JS V2 on warranty--if she keeps leaking like she's been, it might be a possibility.
I am big on instant gratification, but the Prodigy is not obliging me...and that's OK. I've hunkered down for a long wait. When that baby finally does show up, it'll be a huge treat.

Im still pretty new to vaping, but I think I have finally figured everything out with the 510 as far as filling carts and getting straight vapor amounts. I have been looking around for different liquids though, and havent found anything that I love. I like apple flavor. Any suggestions? pS. Sorry to get off topic
Well, I certainly didn't last long...I am such a sick freak.
I now have: (1) 801 Prod full kit+ 510 adapter, (2) a 510 PT, and (3) a 801 PT plus extra 801 Prod base kit on three separate orders.
Can you tell that I like vapin' on 510's and 801's?
That's a whole lot of faith in PureSmoker, considering I have yet to meet *any* Prodigy in person yet. Spikey's video review really whet my appetite though...
My firm belief is that that faith is well-placed.;-)

My favorite flavor (just popped some in today) is Parked's Nicquid in cappuccino. I've tried cappuccino straight from China (can't remember which vendor), but it wasn't nearly as good as Parked's.
Walrus's Mad Vaper flavors are always, without exception, to die for. Walrus usually sells in the classifieds section here on ECF. You can PM him to see what he has available. Chocolate raspberry truffle was like OMFG! I can't wait to try it out on a Prodigy...probably be vorgasmic!

I'm almost a little surprised to see you here...I had you pegged as a rabid Janty Stick devotee...no offense, though, I use and enjoy my Janty Stick (manual, V1) all day long right alongside with my TECC 510.
