I gotta come clean. I hate 28ga wire. Just to thin to be useful.

Orchids have small decks and a dual .7 with 26ga fills them right up. But with stock wicking they work great. Grind them out and you need more wicking and room becomes a issue. So 28 allows smaller coils which fit better BUT 28 burns up and is a all around to GD thin wire for whomping applications. At 30w (where I vape most of the time) you have roiughly a one second window to make a mistake and get the snot burnt out of you wicks.

I just rebuilt Orchid #1 (yes I engraved numbers to keep track) with 26ga at .7(.68)Ω and while I had to work at getting those huge coils and extra cotton in the tiny chimney its worth it. Sick of having to hold 28ga little hand and keep repeating everything will be ok there there little flower.

I took the KS RTA apart at work this morning for a rewick. There was a 26g 1 ohm coil in it that I managed to mangle by getting the chimney stuck on the tank due to user error. So I figured I could turn the chimney section loose with a screwdriver down it's throat. The screwdriver slipped and poked down through the coil.

All I had in my EDC vape kit was a small piece of 28g and a sample of 27g. I built a replacement coil from the 27g, not quite the same...

Seriously time to restock my EDC with PROPER wire!

I would love to know why its so frickin hard to get a decent strawberry DIY flavor? I just tried some Fa Strawberry & Cream and like all other strawberry flavors, its candyish and fake tasting. I have vaped juices before that are good strawberry vapes. Mothers milk, Unicorn Milk, ITC Spoonlicker V2 so i know it can be done, just why cant I find any decent DIY strawberry flavors dabnabit!

I finally picked up the Uwell Crown and yall, that is a Mod Womping dream! For me the sweet spot is 60 watts and it produces great flavor with huge clouds. I had to sit thru 8 hours of boring classroom today and it rode with me all day. Refilled it once around lunch time and when we got out of that miserable classroom for the day.
It is vary much on par with the Smok TFV4 with the Smok vape being cooler at 80 watts but all in all the Crown is a real keeper!

I tootle puff on a provari with modified mini protank 2 at 4 volts on a 1.2 ohm coil built with twisted 32 kanthal.

Is a subtank mini considered cloud chasing? Either way I vape a subtank mini with an ipv mini 2 at 20 watts with a .7 coil built with twisted 28 kanthal.

I recently started dripping also. Have a fasttech velocity clone which I have built with dual coil 24 gauge kanthal coming in at .23 ohms. Vape it 60 watts with airflow very tight and if I feel like chucking clouds (which I've found personally is more of a novelty) I crank up to 80 watts and open up the airflow. Vaping that setup with an IPV3 li.

I enjoy all my setups and they all get their equal share of use. My mini protank setup I vape 6mg and the subtank and velocity I vape 3mg.

I use it as 16% of my strawberry & cream recipe, but most of the responses I got when I asked in the Inawera thread said 4%-8% -- I just have a hard time tasting a vape, if it's not VERY highly flavored. Fortunately that's one that can be used at such high levels without going sideways.

After a weekend of trying to tootle I'm back on point.

Vape Royalty has authentic Goblins for 20 bucks. Kinda a fussy tank (I have others) but when she's on she's ON!!!

Build her to .5(.47)Ω with dual 8 wrap 26ga wicked with rayon. Hitting like a champ between 40-50w. I've had Goblins up to 75 before. I may but this build on a Sig and she what its got. I can tell a faint wetness at 40w that tells me she's got heart.

I pulled at tootle tank wicks and put away for storage. My system is purged. Vape Exlax as it were.

The wrap doesn't carry any current so it makes sense that since it is very close to 26 in size but with less mass it measures close to 28.
