I would love to know why its so frickin hard to get a decent strawberry DIY flavor? I just tried some Fa Strawberry & Cream and like all other strawberry flavors, its candyish and fake tasting. I have vaped juices before that are good strawberry vapes. Mothers milk, Unicorn Milk, ITC Spoonlicker V2 so i know it can be done, just why cant I find any decent DIY strawberry flavors dabnabit!

One thing I'm noticing about the KFL is its a hot vape. With a small DT its brutal. A larger ceramic DT cools it down some but its still a VERY hot vape.

I don't vape strawberry but I make it for others.
I can tell by the smell its chemically but people like it.
Recently I switched to "ripe" strawberry from FW. It actually smells like strawberries.
Nope because it is on the outside, just a washer under the head of the center pin.
The KFL shouldn't be that hot of a vape unless it is cranked up too high or chainvaped. I run mine with a 28g 1.2 -1.5 ohm coil on 2.5mm. 15W works a charm but if it's on the KBox I run them at 20 since the 13 is lacking, I don't now why they chose 13W and yet went up by 5's the rest of the way.
If you don't want to play with DIY washers, then Madvapes sells a circuit spacer you drop into the hole of the P-Thingie to take up the slack.

I'm a hard hitter. Literally from day one I whack my vape little a monster. I was back to the vape shop on day 2 complaining about dry hits. Was told I hit to hard are vaping was a gentle hit.

Taifun-not to bad actually, I'm gonna build one later for the P-thing

After a days worth of squonking on the vaporflask clone, I can say I like it but yes it does have some cons. The biggest is getting the bottle hole lined up with the tube. I built a new coil in the Velocity for it. A single clapton coil built up high so its in the airflow. I am not ovrly impressed with the flavor but that might be the juice I have in it. Have some other juice steeping in the ultrasonic cleaner now and will try them later today. The bottle capacity is 6 ml and that lasted me about a day so its a bit small but not a real con.
I seen earlier there is a TC version of the vapor flask clone for $57 if anyone is interested.

Not sure what you mean by getting the bottle hole lined up with the tube? I'm SERIOUSLY contemplating a mod like this (me loves me Velocities). I like my Smokeless Owl, but I prefer regulated mods....

I just put a single coil in the Aqua 2, a 10/9 of 26g for a 1.1 ohm coil and packed off the other juice channels with a bunch of Japanese Cotton. A much more enjoyable vape at 20W over the 0.4 dual build I had in it earlier.
You wouldn't get dry hits in the Aqua 2 either... It's an Orchid stlye build.
I don't get dry hits with my KF4's or the Kayfun Undead either but I don't vape them the same as the Silverplay.
You might want to pick up a Monster V2 base from Fasttech and see how that works for you. Or just wait for the Cthulhu V2.
The flask has a hollow pin that goes from the connector down into the flask hole where the juice bottle is. When you insert the bottle it has a hose on it that you have to line up with this hollow pin and slide the hose onto the pin as you push the bottle into the hole. The only way you can see it is to look into the squonk hole to try to line it up.Not sure what you mean by getting the bottle hole lined up with the tube? I just dug up a Orchid that I haven't taken the Dremel to yet.
Dug even deeper in to the pile for some 30ga wire from the bad old days.
30ga is so hard to with. Trying to build dual 3Ω coils.
Not going to good so far.
I wonder if a Lemo 2 deck would fit under a Russian tank...............
Have you tried 528 Customs Monster line or a Lemo? Both are Kayfun style RTAs but with much wider channels so they allow for much better wicking. They also have lots more airflow so you can lung hit easier as well.
I just built this yesterday. 30g/8wraps/3mm. I'm netting about 1.58. They're even spaced coils...
I have found 24ga to be the easiest to work with but its end up being to low. 22ga is hard for me.
26ga is my workhorse. Its in almost everything.
28ga is hard for me to work with but sometimes its best.
29,30,32 sit unloved until I start doubling them up.
So I ended up where I should have started. The Taifun GT V2. At one point there was like 6 of them kicking around here, all FT clones. I've found these like getting hit in the 20-30w range but knew they could tootle too.
28ga for 1.5Ω at whatever the heck voltage the thingie will fire it. I had to turn it down several times.
Now we are tootling. Nice draw. Decent cloud. 50/50 juice is waaaaay to harsh but the Taifun will wick VG so I'm gonna make some 12mg 75/25 joose.

Velocity that's sitting on my Smokeless Owl. I use 30g for my PT heads. 28g on most everything else. I've thought about scoring some 26g, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I have taken the 30g and twisted it. That works o.k. Now that I have the larger post holes on the Velocity, I might even twist up some 28 and see how that goes. I have two more Velocities that I've ordered. Took about 3 weeks for the first two to show up. I figure I'll see the next two by the end of the month

Not for my big hands. But I did actally get them in. But even 10w was to much during the pulsing and I got a hot leg. And that thin wire is instant death.
Wow! I personally hate 30g, even twisted as it's just too flexible. Since the Smokeless Owl is a mech, that 1.5 ohm dual build will give you 11.75W on a fresh battery and at 71 mW/mm² it's a very, very cool vape. I would go with a 26g 9/8 wrap on 2.5mm for 1 ohm which should give you 25W and a nice heat flux of 221 mW/mm². But you know what kind of vape you are looking for and I am just giving my suggestion.
@TrollDragon - yeah, I may drop the Owl to a single coil build. I'm just playing around to see how things work. I've not done many dual coil builds (fat fingers and tiny posts ) I should get some 26g, just for kicks 'n' giggles.
