I am not overly impressed with the cake batter but it might be because the bottle I have is older. Kinda gives is a slight burnt flavor. I thought maybe it was the coil but I ran a batch of waffle thru it next and it was back to a clean good flavor. I am gonna try a batch with vanilla cupcake and see how that turns out.
Well, it COULD be our tastebuds are different, too, but OMG, I love my cake batter. The one I'm using is Capella's, the one with the diketones, but you know what? I DON'T CARE. LOL! I'm like Robert with his V1 Vanilla Custard. It's worth it! I got some "cake batter dip" flavor by TFA that was supposed to be similar, except without diketones, and it's not the same at all. It's not bad, but it's not the same at all. I have been avoiding diketones when I can, but cake batter was one of the flavors I got before I realized it had them in there, and I got hooked.
