When I was based in south Dakota, I used to drive an 86 ford f150.... With a big ole 460, double barrel eddilbrock carb, monsterish dual exhaust.... It was loud :p
Was sitting at a stop sign during the Sturgis rally, waiting for pedestrians to cross, surrounded by bikes... Was trying to get a little rev chorus going so without looking I reved up... And scared the bajeebus out of the lady that happened to be crossing in front of me at the time... She practically climbed up my hood, thinking I was taking off
I felt bad, but couldn't stop laughing :p
Must have been a loud truck! With all the thumping going on and other noise you would think it would get drowned out.

Lol....
I really miss that truck. Sold it when I got back to California, land of extreme gas prices..... The thing got 6-7 mpg... Down hill in neutral :p
6-7 mpg is right. I had a 460 3/4 ton with dual tanks. Sold it when gas went to .75/gallon.

That's one of my favorites but I love Freebird too

Like if you love Freebird

Freebird and Sweet Home Alabama been so over played that many are tired of them.

Now some good old classic Skynyrd is always a joy to listen to.
