@Lannie, awww that's so sweet and shame about your allergy, they do make great pets, it's just the stigma to the word rat, pretty bizarre, it's been going on for nearly 700 years, go figure. Oh and it's time for a new mod :)
Wild rats are darn destructive pests.

The first eight years of married life was to a Brit who cooked that way. Also, an English dinner plate is about 2" in diameter larger than the average American dinner plate. She did not bring all the food to the table but totally loaded the plate heaping with all those goodies (note how many of those are carb-intense), then, if I didn't ask for seconds, she thought I didn't love her. I went from a 38" waist and 240 pounds when I said "I do" to 360 pounds and a 52" waist by the time she left. Now I am back down to that 38" waist and 160 pounds lighter.

By the way, what is mashed swede? I be mostly Svedish und hav net been toadily mashed yet... :)

Oh yes, it all goes on the plate, no separates on our table, just mint sauce, salt and pepper, at the end, if there's enough room left in the old belly, we mop up the gravy around the plate with a slice of bread. Although, this is only once a month, we don't eat or cook like this everyday ha.
It's usually rounded off with apple pie and custard later on in the evening with a bottle of champagne, this is why I'm on a diet Rich, I just had the veg, meat and some gravy, so not too bad.
Swede is Swede ....British term anyway ;)

Cut, boiled and then mashed up with butter, sometimes it's mixed in with mash potatoes.

Those Brits with their weird words: torch instead of flashlight, lift instead of elevator, swede instead of rutabaga, why can't they just speak proper English over on that side of the pond...:D
Ha, it is what it is, the best one is still a glass of pop, instead of soda, oh and don't forget nappy instead of diaper, oh tights instead of pantyhose, it's endless.

Actually the pop vs soda debate rages on here in the USofA. There are parts of the country where everybody says pop, and other parts where everyone says soda. And parts of the South where it's all Coke no matter what brand it is.

With first wifey, it was every Sunday. Every single day, the evening meal was larger than any I had before or since, but Sunday was HUGE (and ya better damn well eat it all).

I didn't know that, I just thought it was a UK thing, I can't stand most of our sayings, pop being right up there, a lot of things here irrate me. I've always said when the kids are older I'm moving but then there's always that, the grass is greener saying. I'm a recluse, I live on a cliff with no neighbors and the neighbor I got engaged too haha. I like to look down on the busy people below, sit back and vape my tanks.....when I can find them. Let the world go by, as long as my family are happy, I'm pretty much content.

That's just another form of control but I probably don't need to tell you that, I dunno, maybe I'm reading it wrong but I lived with a controlling woman who almost drove me to ending my life, made me think it was all my fault, I was on medication, she was a very good actor to my family but a different person behind closed doors. I look back and wonder why I let it happen but it does happen, bit by bit, chipping away until there is nothing left.
On a littler note, I'm going to order a Aspire Plato just to see what it's like.

    Uh why rayon?

Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk
For me it's better for wicking in my tanks because it doesn't swell like cotton! Especially in my MT that wants a ton of wick! If i put as much cotton in as rayon I'll get dry hits! Since I started using rayon no dry hits so far! As for the break-in taste of the rayon, it's not any worse for me than KGD & lasts about 1/2 tank in my Griffin then it seems to me to be even better than KGD! I can't end a praise fest without mentioning the person who got me started @suprtrkr!

And on a more vaping related topic, anyone have a good recipe for a Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper?
No but a do like PA Black Cherry, if I was going to make one similar I'd use that, it's pretty strong though so I'd mix it about 6 / 7%, could mix that with a bit of CAP Vanilla and I'm sure they do a coke flavor too.

Call it what you will, pop, soda soft drink, sarsaparilla even I don't get it.
Coke has distribution in more countries than are recognized by the UN.

I can't stand carbonated beverages and never liked them. Maybe one every five years or so, probably less.

COFFEE  Make mine a long black with a bit of honey. :hubba:
