Is that likely going to mean the chip is bad, or are my coils just getting old? They're still reading fine on the display (just under .50 ohms and they're .50 ohm coils), but they ARE quite old. I rinse and dry burn them between rewickings. What do you guys think?
I would definitely change the coil if it's that old and see, but chances are like rixy said, ya need a new mod. Either the fire button, or the chip.

So, Sunday dinner was, a leg of lamb, cabbage, carrots, runner beans, sprouts, mashed swede, broccoli, mashed potatoes, sage and onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding with lamb gravy poured over. It was amazing
Holy Schnikes!! Did y'all invite the whole town? Thanks lannie for tellin us what swede was. Never had rutabagas but have wanted to try them. Unless they taste like a turnip. Love raw turnips, love cooked turnip greens.......hate cooked turnips.

don't mistake the wild rat for the domesticated rat, that's like thinking a dog is a wolf.
ok....good point.

finally I can't be around rodents at all anymore, except rabbits
cuz bunnies aren't rodents, they're lagomorphs.

@Lannie the best way to fix electrical gremlins is a good smack to the device. Repeat until issue is resolved :D
See......I KNEW that was how ya did it!!

I use Rayon 90% of the time but I have bought Cotton Bacon V2 and it's very good as well. Haven't used KGD cotton in ages!
haven't tried cotton bacon, but don't like rayon or Tx tuff cotton. Love kgd.

Wild rats are darn destructive pests.
jup!!!

And parts of the South where it's all Coke no matter what brand it is.
As it should be!! But these young servers today don't know to ask ya what kinda coke ya want when you order one

I live on a cliff with no neighbors and the neighbor I got engaged too haha. I like to look down on the busy people below, sit back and vape my tanks.....when I can find them. Let the world go by, as long as my family are happy, I'm pretty much content.
sounds like heaven!!

Total peenwimper here.

1.8 Ω is as low as I'll go, and 6W is as hot as I like it.

Welcome!!!!

Uh why rayon?

Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk

Wicks faster, more resistant to heat so less chance of burning it. Little if any taste of its own.

And a $12 box of Graham Cellucotton will be enough wicks for at least two life times :)

Like any wicking material, getting the right amount may take some experimentation.
jup. Could have something to do with the Reos also. They use very little wick unlike a regular dripper. Just enough wick to touch the deck. One squonk and the KGD sucks it right up and the whole wick is wet. Not so much with the rayon. But dunno if I had too much or not enough etc.

Perhaps you are confusing absorption with wicking speed?
I think rayon does not absorb juice like cotton does.

yeah I was talking about the speed of it, but not sure what the difference is, unless you mean that rayon holds more

No I mean rayon holds less. :w00t:
One can vape a rayon wick almost bone dry, cotton grabs the liquid and holds it.
Rayon transports, cotton holds.
Is anything worse than wet cotton clothes, holds a ton and takes forever to dry.

That is my story and I'm sticking to it!

Oh, geez, don't get me started! I know that whole movie by heart! ("Get a cow!") ("Run AWAAAAAAAY!!!!!") I love the French taunting part the best. :) I used to laugh myself to tears over the fact that they wanted some food, and the French knights flung all KINDS of food over the wall at them, and they just got mad! I was in kind of an altered state the first time I saw that, so it was a lot funnier... and the insults were the best. I still use some of them. ;)

OK, now I have an actual VAPE question! LOL! My iJoy Solo Mini that I said powered itself off the other day, remember? Well, it's begun giving "dead hits" every once in a while. I'll hit the button, and although the screen is lit (it's not powering off), there's no fire. Then the next hit is just fine. Sometimes it happens every three or four hits it seems like. Is that likely going to mean the chip is bad, or are my coils just getting old? They're still reading fine on the display (just under .50 ohms and they're .50 ohm coils), but they ARE quite old. I rinse and dry burn them between rewickings. What do you guys think?

I have the collectors box set, with the entire script in book form, plus a "cell" from the movie :D

This IS a new mod. :( It was my two-months-late birthday prezink from Rich. (The first place we ordered it from never got this color in stock, so he reordered from FT, that's why it took so long.) I'ma keep it and put up with its little quirks because I luvs it.

No, they're big rats, and I know this 'cuz they has big sharp pointy teeth...

(Mighta known there'd be a rabbit expert in the group here... LOL!)

Oh, my, you ARE hardcore, aren't you? I just have the DVD! LOL! I don't even think it has any "special features" on it because it's so old! I bow to you, sir! ;)
