If you "never dream" or never remember them, and you wake tired even after a full night's sleep, you may want to get tested for sleep apnea, especially if you snore.
I do snore sometimes, wake up mostly rested. Chronic fatigue is one of the side effects of my condition, so I'm always a little tired. Not sleepy, more of an exhaustion feeling.

Everyone in my family snores, never thought much of it. Then I started noticing that I was always exhausted, even without realizing it. When I started "losing time" while driving and realized I was most likely having microsleep episodes I decided to get tested. It's better since I started using a cpap machine, but I'm still tired most of the time, but that's due more to bad sleep schedule.

Something you don't hear, except from a Modwomper: I just built a quad-coil for practical reasons. :|
Please explain "practical reasons" ?

I have this new dripper that does 1, 2 or 4 coils. I have 1 on it now, but can't figure out why I might want more LOL

I got a new dripper on Friday (Pulse) and have been putting it through the ropes. While it vapes just fine in single or dual configurations, I was finding it difficult to hit my sweet spot while keeping the coils' heat capacitance down. It's a top-air design with a massively reduced (heh) chamber, so it acts a little like it's sealed.

Anyway, with every build I made, it would vape just fine, but the coil(s) would sizzle for several seconds beyond my pulse and continue cooking my wicks. Once I surmised that capacitance was my issue, I busted out the Steam-engine and got to work.

I'm now getting the same quality vape as before, but from four lightning quick, low heat coils. I can rip a 10-second draw if I like and it cools right off. The combined heat means a lot of radiance transfers to the top cap, but the vape is super tame and smooooooove.

I used single coils for a while when I started with rebuildables. My first one in early 2013 was a Genisis, an AGA-T which only handled single coils and the thought of trying dual coils in a Geni never appealed to me because of the complexity of handling shorts with SS mesh.

These days I always use at least dual coils when I can in both drippers and tanks. I find they vape better for me than singles and I think it may be because the power is split between the two coils and wicks so each is actually doing half the work. With mech mods it also makes it easier for me to get to the 0.2-0.4 ohms that I like with these setups while still getting short heat up and cool down times. I also think I can go a little longer between cleaning the coils with duals. My most used juice is a DIY recipe that is quite dark and gunks fast so that's good for me.

A few months back I got a Psywar Onslaught that has four posts, one positive and three negative that handles one, two or three coils nicely. I've been running it on a mech mod with three 27 gauge coils at about 0.23 ohms and it's become one of my favorite vapes. It's not too aggressive, just barely what I consider a warm vape and it has very nice flavor.

I've tried quad coils in a Mutation X but that RDA is not made for them and I went back to duals in it.

All you can really do is try duals and see for yourself how it vapes. Once you know how the single coil setup performs in the same atty you have that to judge it against. It will definitely change the flavor profiles of your juices. Weather you like the change will of course depend on your taste.

If you do decide to try it sometime let us know how it goes :thumb:

My wife has sleep apnea. She started using a cpap machine a couple of years ago. After a few days of getting used to it she sleeps pretty much through the night now and feels better all day for it. They are well worth it IMO.

Oh yeah, my tiredness is due to me staying up until 3am and then waking up at 8am and going all day. I haven't had the lost time since I started using the cpap, and I definitely feel worse if I forget to use it. My "fighter pilot mask" does put a slight damper on the spontaneity in the bedroom, but the 4yo is worse.

Having no experience with CPAP, I do understand it however, but I ask if it is like taking an open air ride, such as a motorcycle or sticking your head out the car window at a moderate rate of speed to create a certain amount of constant pressure or forced air pressure to the airways?

BTW..... Ryedan I took a quick flight with a Royal Canadian pilot today and asked if we could do a fly over your locale, was not sure where you actually resided but I think I have a good idea now!View attachment 466876

Oh gawd, you found me! I knew I should have waited till later today to rebuild the Mutation X

I've thought that over. It wouldn't work. The constant air pressure in the system would just blow vapor out of the air holes in the atty.

Drat!! :grr:
now I know i don't need to get tested. My wife says that I should because I snore, but hey it doesn't bother me
I just think she likes to nag.
