I'm sure its not good, but I have been this way since I was a young teen. I don't know what normal sleep is.
Health problems are no fun, that's for sure. I've been lucky so far. I've been in the hospital three times, once to have tonsils out when I was a kid, the second time to have a broken ankle fixed and the third time a broken bone in my foot. Other than arthritis, my doctor says I'm probably good for at least another year
My wife on the other hand has been having problems with kidney stones. Caused both kidneys to become blocked a few weeks ago and she ended up in the hospital for over a week. She's in pain again tonight. I'll be checking on her every half hour or so for a while or until she makes me stop waking her up all the time
My last ex had apnea. He would snore, stop breathing, then start failing around. Not only did I worry about him not breathing, his snoring was awful, and then I would get punched and kicked. He chipped my front tooth. He refused to do the sleep study or get the CPAP. Mostly I ended up downstairs on the couch trying to get whatever crappy sleep I get.
It's too bad that some people are so stubborn about this kind of thing, but it is what it is. At least you don't have to deal with it any more
