Origenny has been dismantled and bathed. Geez that thing has a lot of parts, lol! I am pretty sure I understand it. Single or dual, big holes for cotton and small ones for mesh? I assume that plug is for cotton builds and should be left out for mesh? If using cotton, are you running the wick to the bottom or just tilting?
On mine, the wick goes all the way down to the bottom and off to the side a bit, therefore it can wick the tank totally dry.

Still dont understand why my parents objected to the music I listened to when I was a youngster!

Could it be because it was "noiz"?

Seriously, I was in my early-mid 20s when those fools showed up on MTV (who actually used to play music!), and they made MY brain hurt, with all their "z's". :D

Woohoo.. Just bought my first mech, Vapor Range is having a sale on all kinds of em and they dropped the Infinite clone of the Stingray X from $45 to $15! Been drooling over that thing for awhile, and sold a couple 'records' on my Bandcamp site the other day so at that price with free shipping I finally had to get it!

Does this mean Ill be a mechwomper now? That kinda sounds like something out of Robotech..

Hah my mom actually bought me that in like 2nd grade! I got lucky that way, parents were big on music so I was never told what I could or couldnt listen to. My first two Sabbath records came outta moms collection when I was waaaaay young! Bonus points cause she had the best two of the bunch, Master of Reality and Vol 4!

If that is the one that comes with the "hybrid" top cap adapter, just make sure you know which attys can/can't be used with it. I have a clone of the first stingray and love it.

Yeah I dont plan on using the hybrid adapter actually. I was originally going to get the SMPL until I read about what a hybrid was. Aside from the cool engraving and all brass tube, having the 'regular' 510 option is what steered me towards the Stingray X. Its not much bigger than a SMPL, and comes with tubes for all 3 battery sizes too. My Derringer and Kayfun 4s will work with it ok but Im not so sure about the Samurai so Im just gonna play it safe and use the 510 cap. Now I just gotta pay more attention to my batteries since I wont have a regulator cutting em off for me.

yup, my stingray is less than a cm taller than my 4nine clone, so really not too much of a difference. Check your batteries often, but you'll learn soon what the drop off in vape feels/tastes like, then you'll know to change your batteries.

Until you try it. :p
I'll never go back!

I'm certainly interested in trying it out - I'm not one to miss out on a potentially superior vape, but I'm dubious of what improvements I may actually realize from it. I see this tech as a godsend for tank users, but I drip exclusively and know how to dial things in with a near 100% success rate. I can't remember the last time I got a dry hit. It's not my intention to boast, but I've spent the better part of three years gaining an intricate understanding of what my perfect vape is, and I know how to get it from all of my atties.

Beyond that, I have a sensitivity to nickel (can handle the small amount in kanthal) and really have no interest in maintaining titanium. To me it all seems like new hassles in exchange for a feature I wouldn't benefit from. I could also go on about my choice to use mechs for safety reasons, but I think I've said enough. :)

TL;DR - I'm willing to try it but I don't have much reason to. Could be surprised!

I don't find tc to be of any great benefit either although I'm an RTA user. IF I dry hit, its on an RDA, lol! I'm a lazy dripper.

I also have a ni allergy and use ti. I don't find maintence a problem though. It has been interesting to learn something new.

Just finished the install and drive home with the outlaws.....

And now I'm nervously womping away on some Virus because who pulls up behind me to make the turn into the neighborhood? The police officer who lives in the front of the subdivision.

I can't tell if he was admiring since he has an old school Camaro, or making a mental note to bust me later. :D
