I like a single vertical micro coil in my veritas, though I don't think TC plays well with micro coils. Single spaced coil should work fine too. I like to get one wick end down in the well and the other end(top) tucked into a side groove.

The best result I've gotten from the Veritas, so far, was with a single vertical -- but I never compress my coils, I like 'em spaced no matter their metal. But I was thinking, my main problem with dual coils has been a) excessive heat, which requires b) excessive airflow -- now that i can actually control the heat, I won't need to open the airflow any wider than I actually *like*, for MtL hits -- so the Veritas might turn into a real diamond, on a TC mod.

I love the way it looks, and I've hated just leaving it in the drawer. Now maybe I can flaunt it!

Regarding DIY and juice cost... I respect the fact that shops need to make money on something. Rent and all the other expenses are not cheap. I haven't vaped that much commercial juice- ignorance is bliss. And even if I found something better, it is not going to be 35 - 95 cents/ml better than what I make. When I started out I was getting decent juice from a local small chain for $10/oz or $5/15ml. I thought that was fair.

The only juice I've bought the last 9 months or so was a bottle of Mother's Milk. Just because I got to spending a lot of time reading that big clone thread, and making clones, and I wanted to know what it tasted like . I thought my clone was fine, although the MM was a little better and I don't think anyone really ever nailed it.

When I got the evic-VT kit, I used the eGo One Mega tank for all of half an hour. The wick holes are so darn small it would run dry on me constantly. The tank is now basically sitting in my tank graveyard. I ordered some of the CLR heads hoping that might help since you can adjust the size of the wick holes.

*My* Vaperversary is the last day I had a cig. I already had my started to vape Vaperversary but I did not celebrate that. That was about he first week of June last year, I think. Going into a vape shop and coming out with an eGo/Ce5 was no BFD. My last cig... that was a BFD
If you look at my sig you might see why I make that a BFD. Part of my resolve... never again...
Those two dates are only 7 weeks apart or so, although I'd have to dig through my CC statements to find the exact day I went into that Vape shop.

I think I'm going to get an eVic-VT. For my vaperversary on Friday I want something different that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Just a hand. I see it comes in a kit with an eGo One Mega tank, which I am not at all familiar with. I have spare Kanger Subtank Minis and Troll drippers. I'm wondering if I should get a 5 pack of titanium coils for the tank? Any comments about the vapability of that tank, or should I just get a spool of Ti wire and build something on a Troll or STM? Or maybe some other cheap dripper I could add to my Vaperversary?

I got it with the Ego one tank and I dont like the tank at all.

I have an Ego One 2200 with the 2.5ml tank. It's been my secondary device since I got it. Doesn't hold up well to chain vaping, I'll admit, but it's never given me a dry hit - just a bit of a scorched taste to warn me if the tank's going dry. It also tends to get hot if I am hitting it too often.

There's a few things I don't like (like the itsy bitsy view port holes - can't see squat thru them, but the newer generation has bigger holes) but the vapor and battery life are impressive for a device this size.

I vape at about 80 watts on mechs and gennies, I don't chase clouds, I don't use the latest whizbang hardware, I make my own juice, I wind my own coils, I roll my own mesh wicks, and I use Poldiacs for my mods, though I'm not sure they womp. I've never womped them anyway, of that I'm sure. The inference seems to be that you would have to womp your mod to get into the club, but I've honestly no idea how to do that. Any hints?

A lot do both. I still like to hit on my Kayfuns at times at 13 watts and thats tootle puffing. Then I break out an RDA or my STM and vape 20 to 60 watts and thats mod womping. So I do both at times.

Yeah but I dont buy it anymore because I cant justify spending that much money when Ive got plenty of my own flavors I can make right here already. Killer Juice's Blue Raz was the most awesome blue raspberry flavor. I bought some TFA blue raspberry when I first started DIY to try and make something similar but that flavoring is near impossible to work with. It just doesnt taste right and 1% too much in a mix and youre vaping grandmas nasty floral perfume. I just noticed a couple weeks ago KJ sells the flavoring finally, he couldnt for the longest time because of something to do with an infringement thing. I havent bought any of his juice in quite awhile (since he lost his vendor status here and I started making my own) so hopefully it hasnt changed at all.
