Really enjoying the royal hunter dripper I bought the other day...
- Nice chuff tip, smaller than my troll, and beveled, fits my mouth nicely
- Smaller than the Troll, nice size on my KBox Mini, stealthy sized
- Really nice flavor, with an airy draw wide open
- posts have plugs so the coil leads don't get chopped, this may be good for a TC mod, with a more secure connection than typical chopper posts

I like it better than the Derringer, although that has nice flavor too. The only downside to the royal hunter I found is it gets very warm, even at the Mod Womping 25W max I usually run. You'd want another mod handy to let it cool down. it hasn't gotten too hot to use, just a bit uncomfortably warm for my taste.

I want to join in because I think I fit in this category the best, but I haven't found myself thinking....I have something interesting to say or add to somebody elses post sooooo..... I guess HI will have to suffice for now. I will ask if I have "what it is to be a modwomper" correct.?. I use a variety of mods from a simple non adjustable pen style (not as much anymore) to my sigelei 150. I use toppers that include various 1.8 ohm heads like mini kangers (all the kanger family) to RDAs and rebuildable subtanks, but I am not a huge builder. I would not put myself in the cloud chaser crowd but have been known to toot one out now and again but don't fit the tootlepuffer (not that there is anything wrong with it- for old Seinfeld fans). Did I get it right and more importantly..... Do I fit in?:lol:

Here is my take on the rules of inclusion in this club... you may not fit in here if...

- You post threads asking if such and such a battery will explode if you use the coil you are considering building
- You regularly compete in cloud blowing competitions with people that already asked the above question
- You hunt for RDAs promised to "blow more clouds bro"
- You are excited about the idea of a 200W mod because you constantly run your 150W mod full bore
- You think running your gear at the edge of the envelope is S.O.P. and the reason you vape
- You think any kanthal coil with more than 0.15 ohm resistance is boring
- You think running a TC mod to get below 0.15 ohm is cheating

Otherwise you will probably fit in just fine :)

Well guys, got home from my two week work rotation last night and checked out the Squonker box kit I orderd.

Not too sure if I like it or not yet. I have a velocity RDA on its way with a squonkers pin for it. I guess the main thing is the learning curve on how to squonk. When to push for juice and all. First of all I believe I used the wrong juice to try it out. I put in some Latakia tobacco juice and I believe I would of been better trying it with a pastry or fruit juice instead.
Initial thoughts on it, it takes two hits on it to get a decent vape, but that might be the RDA or coil built on it. Will play around with it some and see.

Of course you fit in sweetie!!

I have to warn you though... it gets a little crazy at times lol Rubber Room might be a more appropriate name at those times lol

Also, sometimes the talk is about coil building and such... since I haven't gotten the nerve to go there yet (but I think I will someday soon) I just read and absorb since I have nothing to offer. But I'm thankful for the info I glean from those posts, and I know I'll have tons of help and support here when I finally decide to take the plunge. I know there's other threads for that, but I'd rather learn from my "family" here at "home" :)

Other times it's just silliness, music, jokes and the like. I like!! LOL

Welcome to the Mod Wompers @Jode !!

I sure like the looks of this set up. Pretty classy!!

I'm intrigued by squonking but cannot afford a REO. I'm assuming this is more affordable? Please post what you learn - I'm anxious to hear more!

Thanks and I am in the same boat with building. I can but my builds are really straight forward and much of the time I hand that duty off to my trusted SIL (not really married but daughters fiance gets tiresome to write out even though I just did feel the need to :p). Even though I am not a big builder I appreciate the talk and pics of a good build because as you said, I may want to go this route some day. I also love the above pic of that squonker. I really want one but don't get a lot about them yet. Geez sometimes I really sound like a noob. I will enjoy seeing the silliness, jokes and all around news of my vape family. As much as I love my "Home" family, they don't always share my enthusiasm for vaping on the same level.
