well as I said, I think I overstuffed the first few.
pared back and it seems to be vaping better... but...
tank is leaking. and occasionally I can tell that the wick is going dry so I have to prime it again. Now this happens a lot with me on the stm using cotton - and actually the wicking that ends up working best often leaks a bit at first. But I understand that the cotton swells and the rayon doesn't, so I am not sure whether to hold on and see or try rewicking again.
If the taste wasn't so awesome, along with the ability to easily fill and easily see the juice level, I probably would have given up on the stm a long time ago. I have constant wicking problems and dry hits. I even thought my first one was defective so I bought a second one. Seemed better, but in hindsight, I think the arrival of the 2nd one coincided with an improvement in the stock occ coils.
I don't have wicking or dry hit problems with my delta II, ego one, or atlantis (altho I hated the atlantis). I just don't like the delta II or ego one nearly as much because of them being so hard to fill and so hard to see juice levels. The one time I got a burnt hit on the ego one was because I ran it bone dry. And even with those tiny wicking holes, it wicks better than my stm usually does. I didn't even have this much trouble with the t3d clearos I started with.
But then I'll get lucky and have a coil go 7 days with no wicking trouble or dry hits. It doesn't happen often enough, but it does happen. I don't get it. This is why I started rewicking - I figured I couldn't do any worse than the stock, and maybe I could find a way to wick these that works better for me. Eventually, if I keep these, I plan to build coils for it too. I haven't messed with the rba decks, because these are the older ones with the tiny holes and I just know that spells trouble for me.
