It probably works fine if you hit it with 300w. The trick is gonna be finding an atty where you can put that through the post holes and then you better hope you have enough room inside to keep it from shorting against anything.

I thought it was a double parallel too but Boden's coil skills are off the hook so Ill take his word for it too haha. I can only imagine how much faster that would kill my Sammy 25Rs and how much more juice I would go through with that!

It's a triple parallel. It is very efficient, at 35 W the Vape is dense and warm using 70vg.

Then load it up with the dual 16g, 5 wraps each side on an 4mm mandrel.

The only problem is that coil ohms out at 0.06 and 150W would just start to bring the build to life. I don't think there are any regulated box mods that will fire a 0.06 ohm coil with enough power. On fresh batteries the guy from the B&M was putting 294W into that build.

The Quad stacked Congestus would especially not fire that 16g build at all. You would fuse the switch instantly and it would lay some serious owies upon everyone in the vicinity...

I think I get what you're doing, trying to get people out of the mindset that lower/bigger=better. That's kind of what modwomping is about.

I had several topics on efficient system design (wick/coil/airflow) that I was going to introduce in that thread but now that it is in the coil building section the general audience I wanted to be involved will never see it.

I think I'm going to paint the house instead...
