More batteries = more weight and larger size. Foir me I like the less weight and smaller size. Up to you.
If you get an RX 200 be sure to us it in both hands or you will get one arm larger than the other ;)
MORE WEIGHT = BETTER vape CURLS! LOL!
I'M AFRAID TO GO BACK TO MY IPV4S BECAUSE I MIGHT BUST OUT SOME TEETH!

Just thought I'd throw this in, here, because it was here that I got the news that my new iPV Mini wouldn't step down -- actually it will, if you put it in "PWM" mode -- press the fire and + buttons at the same time. So that's what I did, and it now works just the same as my other mods... but I still like the 2Ω coils, so I'll stick with them. The 9 wraps instead of 7 wraps gives me just a tiny bit more vapor... which isn't something I thought I would really want, but the slight increase is nice. :thumb: Plus, the 2Ω coils really do save battery life a bit better than the 1.7Ω coils.

I just built my velocity rda that I got from Vapor Bank. I put in dual 26ga SS316L 8 wraps 3.0 ID reading at .31. I have it at 58 watts, 4.1 volts, slot open about a third of the way and the holes open full. Nice vape! Not hot at all, it's actually pretty cool. I had been wanting to get one for the longest and it was only $10 in that sale. I wish now I had ordered more. This thing is easy to build and the air flow is tremendous!!

So time to put the Radius behind me. Not everything in life works out.

How to grieve??

What could help??

Oh dear what am I to do??

HOW ABOUT BUYING A FREAKIN DNA200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a 30w vaper who doesn't use TC it seems silly but that VT200 has been calling my name. And Hcigar is a company I trust for a quality product. Still a windoze box in the house so this could be fun.

Just watched this video with an update on the Hotcig DNA200. I liking all the options on this!

Nice, did not know that about the Hotcig DNA200! Does look somewhat wide but, so is my ol' Sig 150W! :)

I have held the VT200 and its delightful.

Hcigar builds great modz. Really ergonomic.

Modz are moving so fast this past year. A month is a generation. A year ago I was holding a Hana thinking it can never get any better. Then the SX Mini came along and reinvented ergonomics. But Hcigar took it to an even higher level with the VT40.

That was actually something that struck me as odd with the Radius. Even though its brand new its styled from a year ago. Poorly positioned button and overall brick like feel to the mod. Feels just like the D2 which is another poorly designed mod. Actually they are basically identical.

With as fast as things are moving I'm actually kinda excited to feel the modz of six months from now.

Ouch! That's too bad, coolerat, considering how much a radius costs. You could probably get a lot of that back in the classies, though.

I've thought about selling it but I don't know if they just have extremely poor battery life or if something is wrong. If its just a POS then I could sell it but if its a real problem I can't sell it I'm not like that. Sending it to have it looked at is more then its worth and selling its "as is" is basically giving it away..

Batteries can be changed in it but not very easily and certainly not away from my desk. Couple small easy to lose screws are involved in the swap.

Its just gonna be a very expensive house mod.

The VT200 comes with some scratches in it so it will most likely be my new beater mod. It will be interesting to see what kinda batterylife I get out of that. My son has a Lava Box and battery life as been an issue for him but he vapes at like 199w in TC. I should be ok I think but time will tell.

I'm curious; maybe I missed it in an earlier post... but how did you kill the Radius? I think it's a first, to hear of a Provari of any kind being killed. Must not be up to their usual standards.

Some Radius's seem to have some chip issues. I don't really understand what all that stuff is honestly and have no interest in learning. But it just eats batteries like Tic Tacs.

As far as Provape I don't have alot to say because it was used so not really there problem. They have an AWEFUL website but excellent people. I am not going to pursue it on that end because a warranty is clearly laid out and its not for the 2nd owner. With some things the warranty goes with the unit, if it exists and its in your hands its your warranty. This isn't how Provape has it laid out and thats fine. RT shipping plus repairs is the price of a working mod from someplace else.

What I will be changing is how I buy used. The guy I bought this from is a tootle puffer and most likely never even knew it ate batteries. It wasn't his thing so he sold it. BUT as the buyer you have to understand if something goes wrong your on your own. So the seller is sitting one place and the buyer is in a completely different place. The price will need to reflect this. The seller risks nothing and the buyer everything.

Like my used Hcigar. No warranty. If it dies tough cookies. Vaping is a total loss, scorched Earth lifestyle. Kinda everything is unless you buy those "extended warranties". Christ I hate those things. I have to admitt they have worked out well for me even though I feel stupid standing there when they ask. My youngest daughter bought a car last year and they pushed the warranty hard. She didn't know what to do and I didn't know what to tell her. Well 6 months in the car burped a tranny and I have to say they really took care of her. So you just never know.

Found out my issues with the Radius are in fact known issues and have to be resolved.

This makes two dead modz in a month, the VCT and the Radius. I never killed a mod at all and now I've killed two.

I hope Provape is as easy to deal with as MFS. Its different though as the Radius was used. One thing is sure all ready, its are to find the help button on Provapes site. MFS had a chat thing that popped up.

<----mod killa.

Waitwaitwaitwaitwait......... you mean to tell us a ProVari actually broke, it died? That its has a well known issue? Say it aint so! Just thinking it is blasphemy. Dont ever breathe a word about this on the tootle puffers thread, it will cause mass hysteria among the Provari fan club.

(yea, I did wake up on the wrong side this morning  )

Sadly its not just used items you need to be concerned about. I bought an Istick 50W from FastTech a while back and after about 10 days of using it, it started autofiring, then it just up and died. Wouldnt even turn on. Fastech wanted a video of what its doing. It wont turn on, you want a video of it not turning on, really? Turned out "style" is code word for clone with Fastech, and there was no guarantee that the manufacturer will make good on it but if i pay return shipping to them plus a service fee of around $20 I I remember right, they will try. This was after a week of going round and round on it with them and I decided I was done with it. Yet it goes to show that even buying new, you can have issues with an item and be left out in left field with it.

Glad your daughter made out good with her car. That could of been a nightmare for yall.

For better battery life. If I may, for 40W build close to 0.4, for 30W build around 0.5-0.6, 20W 0.7-0.8, 10W 1-1.3 ohms.

Edit: This applies to any single battery or parallel battery regulated mod.

You an me is spot on wid dat!!!

You'll actually find almost everything I haz will hit right at about 3.8-4.0V.

That which I use the most is right at .5 and 25-30w.

Been on a Kayfun kick but think I'm gonna wrap that up. Been using a high nic/ high PG juice for afew days. Getting a dry throat and like a burning in my lungs and slight breathing issue. Hate using myself as a lab rat but don't really have a choice. Could be the weather or a touch of a cold. This morning I been using a low nic high VG high wattage and almost all the issues are lessening.

Also with Kayfun been noticing if you draw hard on them like I do sooner or later I will get a massive dry hit. Soft gentle little tooles are what they are made for. I thought it was the power that was the problem. So I lowered the power down to 10w. But thats not it. Its those juice channels just can't keep up with a heavy draw. The KFL I ground out the juice channels solves that problem somewhat but opens up leaks.

If you wanna make it on the innerwebz you learn to dance around the Provari/Festool/Android people. They are relentless and will grind you to dust.

I do in fact have feelings about the Radius and in face2face contact I will make those feeling known. On the innerweb its all yes sir and no mam.
