One more thing about the Super tank mini, because the coils are low and the wicking holes are at the bottom, you can vape the tank right down which makes a big difference making it hold the same as the Subtank mini really.

Speaking of figuring, yesterday when I bought those parts for my HexClone I ordered the P logic OKL2-T20. I need the N logic board. That would have made for a interesting bout of problem solving had I not noticed when I got the receipt.

I love Mouser btw, they are shipping me the right board gratis.
Ya can't beat gratis

@Lannie

Made 500ml up.. Raspberry, Strawberry, Lemon, Banana and Blueberry Custard Doughnut (Donut to some :) )

The hardest part is the 10 day wait... I think my fav is still the Lemon though, not tried the Banana one but thought I'd give it a go.

How awesome! I got my nic in, but haven't done any DIY yet. Have a conference this weekend and have been crazy busy at work.
Where's the best place to get the flavors and vg and pg? I know you guys have posted this before. Sorry for asking again.

I live in the UK but by far the best for us is

Vapable for flavors and Everything Liquid for everything else.

Amazon for PG/VG, though there's some other place where you can get better prices, if you buy huge quantities, like gallons.

For flavors, tons of places. bullcityvapor.com is great; ecigexpress.com pretty good too; Wizard Labs has good prices on 8ml vials, so you can try out flavors without going broke. For anything inawera, e-aromashop.com; they're in Poland, but the registered airmail is only $5-ish, and takes about 2 wks -- their prices on inawera flavors are by far the best.

Try a sample first as what I think is great in my tanks might not be great for you, I'd hate for you to make loads and not like it. ;)

Oh, I'll like it, no worries there. It has all good flavors in it. :) Besides, the last time I made a 10ml "sample" that needed to steep, I kicked myself for not making more, because I hoovered it all up in one afternoon it was so good. So now my "samples" are 30mls. If I was using some kind of flavor I'm totally unfamiliar with, like "dill pickle" or "bacon" or "hot red pepper," then YEAH, I'd make a tiny bottle first. But I know I'll like this combination. ;)

@Atchafalaya I get flavors from either Bull City Vapor or Wizard Labs, depending on who has everything I need in stock. Usually one or the other does. I like the Bull City site because they have reviews on flavors (not all have them, but a lot do), and they have the "CAUTION" banner on flavors that have diketones. Wizard Labs marks their "Version 2" diketone-free flavors, but you're left to guess if the rest of them have diketones or never had them. If I'm ordering from WL, I always have the BCV site open in another window so I can flip back and forth and check. They both have a "free shipping if your order is over" deal, but I don't know what it is (I think it's around $65 or $75 maybe), because our orders are always up around $90 to $100. The last one was $150. I TOLD you guys I was a pig! LOL! And now that I'm getting so many 4 oz. bottles, it adds up pretty quick.

We got our nic from MyFreedomSmokes, the 1-liter for $50 deal (100mg/ml strength), but we use very little, so what we got should last years. A lot of people say Nude Nicotine has the best tasting nic, but we had some of theirs at first, and I don't really notice a difference between the two, and the MFS nic was less expensive.

We got our VG from Bulk Apothecary, and we buy it by the gallon. It keeps. We don't use PG, so haven't bought any of that.

+1 on BCV's identification of diketone-containing flavors. ECX has a little of it, but I think mainly just for actual diacetyl; they're somewhat less than spotty on identifying flavors with other diketones. I also don't like to get TFA flavors at ECX -- they're under the trade name "signature," and not well identified as to which flavor is actually what -- TFA has blueberry extra, blueberry wild, and blueberry candy -- the Signature line at ECX just has "blueberry" -- so which is it? ???

Sometimes BCV may be out of stock; if it's a TFA flavor, you can get it directly from TPA/TFA - Perfumer's Apprentice -- if you're buying large quantities, sign up for "wholesale" on the TPA/TFA site, it's free, and you can get much bigger bottles for great prices; for small sizes, BCV is just slightly better, but often out of stock. TPA/TFA has complete details on all the ingredients -- diketone and otherwise -- used in their flavors -- I was able to identify that Dbl choc - Dark has sulfites for some odd reason, which is very bad for asthmatics.

If you know what flavors you like you can buy direct from Flavors West.

I us FW for everything now. It's stupid cheap like 25 a pint or something but it's not for experimenting as the smallest they sell is 4 onuces.

Shipping is slow and not cheap. For one bottle it would be terrible. For 10 pints it's pretty cheap

Well I'm fed up now, the taste from the stock super tank mini coil has completely gone. Going to have to try the Atlantis V2 ones but for now, it's back to the Herakles Plus :(
Uhhhh I really hope that coil was a dud...

Anyone tried the new ceramic clapton wire yet?

If your talking about the c-cell ones from vaporesso tasteyourjuice.com has a copy of a report that vaporshark had done indepently and the results show no problem with the ceramic.

Uh-oh... I don't haz any 30ml bottles empty. So I had to make 60. :p While I was at it, I also made batches of strawberry cupcake, mixed berry cheesecake, and I tweaked a peanut butter cup recipe that needed more peanut butter and a bit more sweet.

I discovered something today. All cake batter flavors are not equal. ;) I got a bottle of regular CAP cake batter because it makes my strawberry cupcake juice POP. Then I got a bottle of TFA cake batter dip because it's diketone-free (the cake batter by Capella is not). So the last batch of strawberry cupcake I used the cake batter dip flavor and at first it was the same. Yesterday, I was vaping some of it, and it seemed flat, not like what I'm used to, but I thought it was because I was using it in a different tank.

Well, I was almost out of the original cupcake juice (with the Cap's cake batter in it), and was JUST ABOUT to pour the remainder of that bottle into the second bottle with the cake batter dip, when I thought maybe I should smell them first. Gee, my brain cells fired appropriately and ON TIME for once! LOL! And lo and behold, the "cake batter" smell that was in the first bottle, was NOT in the second bottle. So, even though it tasted great for the first few days to a week, it got "flat" after a while. Don't get me wrong, it's still a really good flavor, it's just not the RIGHT flavor for that juice. So I poured the little bit of what was left in Bottle One into my tank, and made another bottle with the correct cake batter flavor.

See? I iz lernin. :D Sometimes, diketones be necessary. I understand now why people who got used to Capella's original vanilla custard are such fans. It's probably the same kind of thing. If I'd never tried the cake batter, and just started out with cake batter dip, I'd never know any different, and I'd be cruisin' along, fat, dumb, and happy, thinking my strawberry cupcake juice was excellent, when it was slightly LESS than excellent. ;)

(Aren't you glad I shared my afternoon adventures with you? )

That is the most pointless test I have ever seen. How did they come up with any the results with 0.193g of added weight over 25 puffs!! 40x magnification to look for particles between .01-5 micron....no wonder they found nothing

What the :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: is Phil doing putting those "results " up!!!

Yes, thank you. I needed that after reading that "test report" Phil put up.
