Hibiscus, hmmm? I'll have to put that one on my list, too. I sure love the flavor of this stuff, but I have no clue what's in it. All I know is it tastes like flowers.
Good Lord man! I tried to go up in the mountains once. Bloody nose. Headache. Horrible. Well, maybe it's because I was born below sea level. Who knows. Went to Wyoming once in the winter and the waves were frozen on a lake. Frozen waves. I'm NOT joking about this! I can't deal with cold weather or high altitudes. Not one bit. No way, no how.
You know it's cold when the snot freezes in your nose. That would be the same kinda cold that freezes waves on the lake.
Rich and I went up Mt. Shasta once for a weekend with some friends, at about the 7,500 foot level (Rich, correct me if I'm wrong), and I got horrible altitude sickness. I was fine the first afternoon and evening, but then I got a SEVERE headache and terrible nausea. The rest of the weekend was miserable, and it was only about 4,000 feet different than where we lived on the high desert at the time, so I totally didn't expect that. As soon as we got down off the mountain, I got better.
On a completely different note, Rich made me a handy little gadget yesterday to help with my juice making. I don't have enough bottles, so when I want to make a new batch, I've been just kind of eyeballing what's left in the bottle and guessing how much is there, then making up the difference in flavors and VG. It works, but it's nowhere near exact. So I got one of those little plastic plant markers and a Sharpie and gave him a syringe and (my last) empty bottle and asked him to make me a measuring stick. (He did something similar with a paint stirring stick for my gallon jars when I'm measuring how much milk I get from the cows each day.) And it works! Now I can just set that little plant marker next to the bottle and see how many milliliters are left in the bottle, subtract it from 60, and make the correct amount of juice to top it off!
One of these days I need to get a whole boatload more bottles, but in the meantime, this really helps.

Actually, I've got the type of personality that enables people to walk all over me but mess with someone I love, the claws and teeth come out in full force.
I may need to try one of Fuzzy's devices if they never leak. It gets over 100 here as well - sometimes for months at a time. My tanks hate it.

I hear ya. I've got that "wild hair" too. If I find myself over-doing too much (since my son is grown and gone), I just quit for a few months. The LAST thing I need is to get hooked on booze. Just quit smoking. Can't believe it has been 210 days!!!!!! I can laugh without choking --->and I love to laugh. I can sing again too. Also it may not be very good.
