Thanks Lannie, I will make some, I'm interested in that forest fruits too, guess I need to make another order tonight.

Well, if you get some, and can figure out what that "mystery" fruit smell is, let me know. I can't quite put my finger on it. I want to say it's like pomegranate, but I don't know for sure. It's something I used to eat (and love) a long time ago, and I can't quite figure out if it's a berry, or pomegranate, or what. It smells DIVINE, though, and I hope whatever that flavor is comes out in the juice. :) (I should go look online and see if there's a list of what's included in the "mix" of fruits with that flavor... duh.)

I think it has some sort of cherry in it, wow, the reviews are so good and I have an idea that a bit of vape wizard in this would be superb.
I'm ordering some now to mix Saturday.
Forest fruit Custard, yum yum :)

Ok ordered, going to do a custard doughnut mix with a side order of FA cookies ha. I have vaped 7Oml of juice today between the Boreas and the Aromamizer. Oh wow lol

:eek::eek::eek: :lol:

Well, I've been trying to find out WHAT fruits are in the mix, and I can't seem to find it. I can't even go by the vendors' pictures, because they're not the same. One has a blueberry, a raspberry, a blackberry, and what looks like a currant or a cranberry (little round red thing, but not a cherry), and another picture has those three AND something that looks like a cherry, but darker, like a black cherry. I dunno. All I know is I'm warming my teeny bottle of juice I mixed with a bit of that in it, and every time I shake it, I take the cap off and grab a sniff, and OMG it smells GOOD!

I've heard that most cherry flavors taste just awful, so I've never ordered cherry before. If that's the mystery fruit in this mix, I might have to change my mind about avoiding cherry. It just doesn't SMELL like cherry to me. I can't quite figure it out, though... I'll know more tomorrow, but this one might end up being one of my favorite fruit flavors. Right now, sweet strawberry sits at the top of my favorite fruits list, but this smells really nice. :)

We've spent well over $2500 with this vet over the last couple of years, and yet because they haven't visited the farm, they say we have no "doctor/client relationship
Dang! That stinks. I hope you can get the meds from your friend. No vet would come out here when I had my horses so I'd have to trailer them, and drive them there. Wasn't easy when one cut her leg wide open. I feel for you!

Yup, my friend was able to order them and will have them tomorrow, so with luck, she'll get them mailed to me tomorrow as well. It'll be the first of next week before I get them, but at least they're on the way, even if she can't mail them until Saturday. I tried to get that vet to come out last September when my sweet cow Bandit went down. She was a big girl, over 1,600 pounds, and she couldn't get up, so there was no way to get her in the trailer. Rich had to put her down. I'm not sure the vet could have saved her, even if he'd been able to come out here, but they didn't even try, and that's what breaks my heart the most. :(

Got my Boreas today, built dual clapton 26/32 coils in it, wicked with rayon and gave it a whirl with some old honey dew juice I had for dripping. Holy cow that thing hits like a frieght train! Very nice, well made tank that out performs anything I ever had. It actually hits too hard. I vaped it at 100 watts and it was way more than I could handle. I have it toned down at 60 watt but still hits hard with a ton of vapor and massive flavor. It has to be the most efficient vape set up I ever used. I love it but I cant handle chain vaping it.

One of the features I love about the Boreas is it comes with 2 decks. Later i am going to build a simple 26 ga Kanthal dual coil on the other deck and see if that tones it down enough where I can chain vape it if i want. In my opinion Roxy knocked it out of the park with this design and set the bar way high for any future tanks to follow.

Feeling like a "millionaire" tonight, huh? ;) I know the feeling. Not from those tanks, cuz I don't have 'em, but that perfect flavor and vapor is soooooo nice. :)

Well, my cow crisis is now no longer a crisis. My friend in Colorado came through and will be sending me those meds tomorrow, and while I was waiting to hear from her, ANOTHER friend (this one's in Idaho) told me she had a full box and was happy to send it on to me, so I took her up on her offer. That will be one box more than I need right at the moment, but judging by how hard this stuff is to get, I'll have an extra "backup" box, for just in case. Backups for my backups, you know. ;)

@Rixsta I made another small bottle of the blueberry custard juice, and instead of upping the blueberry, I decided to try adding a small bit (2%) of that FA Forest Fruit. That stuff smells AMAZING, and it will be interesting to see how it works with the blueberry jam. I wanted to make the blueberry yogurt, but all I have to mix in at the moment are some little 15ml squeezie bottles, and I want to make at least a 30ml bottle of that so it can sit and steep for a while. As soon as one of my other juice bottles is empty, I'll mix the yogurt one up. I still need to order more bottles, but with all the other stuff that's come up this month, I'm trying to take it easy on Rich's checkbook, ya know? So. It will wait. The flavors are here, I just need to free up a bottle, but that won't take long, with this evil juice gremlin about.

Now for a real belly-laugh... I remember last summer when I first got into DIYing, and I thought I only needed "a few" flavors! I had no idea what a MONSTER I would someday become! ROFL! I have so many now, I don't even know what I have anymore. FINDING the ones I need to make each recipe has become a time-consuming job! LOL!

Oh, and speaking of recipes, here's that peach one I was talking about. It's a knock-off of one of the "panty dropper" recipes, but I didn't like that name, so I call this Peach Knickerbocker. ;) (You know, like "knicker dropper" only "knickerBOCKER?" Well, anyway, that's what I thought of, and it stuck. You can make it with any fruit flavor, but I really like the peach version.)

10% Juicy Peach - CAP
8% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - CAP
3% Cake Batter - CAP
3% Marshmallow - CAP
1% Ethyl maltol

Now that I've tasted the V1 Vanilla Custard, I'm thinking this would be mighty good if the cake batter was replaced with the original vanilla custard. I think it would only make it better, and the next time I mix up a batch, I think I'll try that and see how it comes out. But the way I posted it is excellent, too! :D

Glad to hear your cow will be ok!

And @Rixsta, awesome little ratty is getting back to feeling well!

I am real funny about stuff like that. My pets are my kids, they are part of the family and even a silly cow can be some ones kid and part of their family. If I had a vet do me like that it would be a cold day in you know where before that vet would ever get a penny from me again.

Had a cat when I was a kid that was my buddy. He slept with me all the time and was with me always. We called him a dat the way he follwed me like a dog. He got sick and we took him to the vet. The vet said he had bad gull stones and needed his gall bladder removed. After the operation the vet called us to come pick him up and he was still sedated. We brought him home that way not knowing any better. The vet said it was ok and we believed him. My cat died that night in my arms and never came out of sedation.
I wont say what i did, even with being sure the statue of limitations is well expired but lets just say that vet had no doubt how upset I was nor will ever forget how he killed my cat.

Glad you finally got around to using it, Claptons are mental in it, I find a nice 24g 9 wraps 3mm at 0.4ohm to be a fantastic vape, much calmer and still good flavor. Try vaping the Super Tank later, it doesn't taste as good as it used too lol
My comparison will go up today, I apologise in advance as it might be quite a long post ha.

That is so sad and I think we can all relate to losing a pet but in your case it sounds like it could of been avoided.

Ok, I want a clean fair fight, no vaping below the belt..
With the unfortunate bad feeling between these tanks of who copied who....putting that aside, this will be like any other review.

These are MY personal opinions after using both tanks.

Looks

Both are good looking in their own rights, the Aromamizer is very nice, I like the look of the knurling and the airflow ring, it's nice to have a selection of colored glass, the black finish is as tough as nails, it won't be chipping off or marking. I took a screwdriver to the bottom and there was no signs of marks. It is slightly taller than the Boreas but only by a bit. The Boreas for me looks slightly better, I love the Matt black finish and the fact there is no branding on the tank, that lazer etched Aromamizer Supreme RDTA at the top, spoils the look a little. The Boreas just looks mean !

Winner - Boreas

Washability lol

This is important to me, there is nothing worse than a tank that is hard to clean, especially when it's a RTA, the Griffins deck springs to mine here. Both, being so similar are very easy to clean, both break down into a lot of parts but there is one big difference. The stop pins that are machined onto the Boreas actually come out on the Aromamizer, they caught me off guard and came bouncing out on my desk as I scrambled to stop them falling on the floor. They are tiny, you need tweezers to put them back in, they are very very easy to lose and although you do get spares, this to me is a real pain....to an extent but I will come back to that at the end.

Winner - Boreas

Orings, threads and machining

The Orings on the Boreas in my opinion need to be thicker, this becomes apparent when you have the Aromamizer, they are top notch and seem to be positioned better too due to the design, they dont fall out when your washing the tank either. The Boreas, the bottom O ring when you screw the cap off can be on top of the bottom of the deck, the O ring to the chimney comes off when cleaning at times. A prime example, put the Aromamizer deck into the bottom cap and it is very snug, you can hold the deck and the bottom cap will stay on, try that with the Boreas and it falls straight off. The Boreas airflow/juice control O rings are another example, I don't care what others say, juice leaks into it after time but I will get back to that later as well.
Threading on the Aromamizer also takes the win, it is some of the best machining I have seen, super smooth, that's not to say the Boreas is bad, not at all but you can tell the difference.

Winner - Aromamizer

Design and Usability

This is where I fall out with the Boreas, personally having the airflow and juice flow together was a mistake and a pretty big one at that. It is the sole reason why we have to go through this crazy routine, which at first, because it's new wasn't to bad but it does start to gripe on you. The filling method of turning the tank upside down, letting the juice drain, opening the top cap slightly to burp it, shutting the juice flow off, turning it back up, unscrew the cap, fill. Not to mention the next routine after you have filled it. So many including myself have gone to bottom filling it which basically scraps the juice flow control completely, that says it all really.
The Aromamizer is a breath of fresh air, I have to say, it's the best juice control I have seen, it works like any other but this actually does shut the juice off completely, not a single drop will get through when it's closed. The juice control has a slight resistance, it's never going to move by accident. Filling is simply fantastic, shut the control off, take 4 or 5 vapes, close the airflow, unscrew the cap and fill, screw the cap back on, open the juice flow and then airflow and vape. I have not had a single gurgle, not a single drop of juice leak, there is certainly no wiping it with a paper towel like the Boreas where the juice builds up, it really does make a hell of a difference to my everyday use of them.
It doesn't stop there either because been able to control the juice flow separate meant when my Claptons were popping a little, new Clapton's an all, or too tight wicking or whatever it is, shutting the juice flow down to 4 notches from 7 (max) stopped the popping after a while as less juice was being fed to the wicks, it works really really well. You simply can't do that on the Boreas, well you can if you want to restrict your airflow.

Winner - Aromamizer

Airflow and Flavor

Both tanks are super airy wide open, now I have read many times that the Boreas airflow and overall vape is smoother, I disagree, they are both super smooth and are a joy to vape, I'd say the Boreas is a little bit more airy but it's hardly noticeable.
Another thing I keep seeing is the Boreas has more flavor, again, for me, this is not true and although they have the same design, it's the air ring that makes a very slight difference. Because the Boreas has holes, 4 of them each side when open sucking air in, the Aromamizer has two holes fully open, in fact they don't look that big and at first I thought it would have restricted airflow but it's not an issue, I can count ever single wrap on my coil through the air hole and I maybe completely wrong but I think it helps with the flavor. I have been back and forth, vaped my .... off yesterday and all this morning and it's super super close, it's so close that I kinda don't want to commit to it, call me chicken but hey....when it's that close, does it really matter.

EDIT - The stock drip tip is to blame for the not so smooth airflow that has been mentioned on forums, with the stock tip it is awful. I used a dotmod from day one so have only just discovered this.!

Winner - Draw

Final thoughts

Two amazing tanks but the Aromamizer surprised me more than I thought, I already had the Boreas as the winner but it didn't quite go that way. If I had to chose then I would pick the Aromamizer Supreme and for me, it's all because of the juice control, it works way better, it is hassle free, it doesn't leak, I can shut it off and vape the access juice, pop it in my pocket without fear of it leaking, you cannot do that with the Boreas and that brings me back to those silly stop pins. Yes, they should of been machined in and if they were in the Boreas I would be going mental but it's not such a big of a deal in the Aromamizer, why ?
Because ever other day I'm stripping the Boreas down to clean the juice build up due to the juice control and the O rings, I have cleaned that tank more times than any other. With the Aromamizer, you should be able to go well, as long as you want because that problem simply doesn't exist, pop the deck out to rewick or put in a new coil and carry on vaping so having to deal with those pins wont be very often.

Two tanks at the very top of there game, both deserving but because of my OCD I find myself only using one of them now. It may not bother you but I would advise, if your in a position to do so to grab a Aromamizer and compare them yourself as my opinion is just that, one persons opinion.

Right now, sweet strawberry sits at the top of my favorite fruits list, but this smells really nice. :)
It has been dispatched so I look forward to mixing some tomorrow. :thumb:
