It was a software error, it permitted I believe 20 units more to be sold than they had on hand.

+1, they oversold the ZAP by 20 units... BUT Zen quickly got together with his crew and assembled/tested/packaged 20 more ZAPs and sent them to Provape with express shipping. At least those who ordered one of the extra 20 are still getting one :) I'd imagine you should be getting a shipping notice soon!

you know there are over 600 zaps in the wild? not to mention hundreds of zenesi, and other z-atties? thats a lot for 2 people(with him being the only one building them to assure quality) to do since the beginning of this year. he also has a full time job with the government that ties 40-60 hours a week up....think you could assemble a thousand units+wicks+wire in that timeframe with a full time job while dealing with parts vendors, machine shops, anodizers, distributors, and the post office? i doubt it

Had a quick question and figured this thread should be the place it is brought up in. I am not re-building a coil yet but I will eventually but I had a question. I see most videos and such wrapping their coils 4 to 5 times. How do I achieve a higher ohm coil? Do I wrap it 1 more time or 1 less? I can't seem to remember.
Talking specifics in the Zen thread apparently brings up bad feelings for some of those guys. I am a technical person, I like to know my ohm's and what wattage I am vaping. I realize Zen~ doesn't like to talk about these kinds of things and I will respect his decision to not talk about it in his supplier thread, so I will bring it up here instead.
So should I wrap the coil with only 3 to 4 wraps or 5 to 6 to get a higher ohm rating? I would like to shoot towards 2.5 ohms. I like the working voltage range better and it helps lengthen my battery usage.

Hmm, ya gonna vape it at that or remove a wrap....just curious....I'll probably remove a wrap if mine meters that high.

I've been vaping it this way since I got it in June. :) I always did prefer SR carto's and atty's on the ProVari, since I can just change the settings.
