The time now is 2:20 PM, and they're still available. Guess everyone who was waiting to get one finally got one.
Provape mentioned that before Zen used to applied gorilla glue to hold the post (black part) in place and now he is using a "press fit" method.
Any recommendations for drip tips...i cant believe at $150 it doesnt come with a nice drip ti.p..unless, im mistaken.

I guess the ZAP market is finally flooded.... Saturday 8:40 am, still available....
Flooded sounds bad. Everybody that wants one is getting one. That is good, imo.
i have first, second, and third gen zaps and not one of them has the black derlin peice glued in place OR press fit, on all of them you can unscrew the delrin peice that the positive post screws into, if you apply enough pressure. There was no glue in the entire atty, and there is not even a trace of any glue or anything being glued in there,
EDIT: turns out I was wrong about the glue lol, but my 1st zap in the pic is pretty old and doesnt have it, must have been from before my oldest was born. I have taken them all apart and no glue or glue residue, no press fit either, the delrin just unscrews right out/back in. I would still not gorilla glue that peice in though because it needs to sometimes be removed to be cleaned as juice sometimes get in there, and as far as reselling it, I wouldnt want one that had been glued bc I clean mine weekly and I wouldnt be able to fully clean all the juice out of it.
The ONLY difference between the first, second, and third gen zaps is the length of the floating pin is longer on 2nd and 3rd gen, and the top cap has a raised engraving on 3rd gen. the rings there on 1 and 2 I stripped the satin off they did not come like that

the only real way that I can think of that the black delrin peice is popping up like that is if the positive post had been pulled on so hard that the threads on the black delrin peice got stripped, or it was put in cross-threaded, but w/ that you could tell bc the post would be ....-eyed.
it does not screw in. he just means you woukd twist it until it comes out.
Huh, thanks for the correction then. I had no idea you could take the center pin out. Makes sense for repair purposes.
Although I will mention, my Provari's do not have a floating center pin(I just checked). I never tighten things down to far though. I was always watchful of that since I started using 357's with the Provari and was told to never tighten them down to far as doing so causes them to leak.
^this, no threads on it on the outside, the threads are on the inside for the post to thread into, which its possible to cross thread and warp it, im guessing though thats never happened to me, it comes out rather easy so its not press fit in or glued.
