If you need some more convincing on the Russian 91%, check out pbusardo's review on YouTube. I think in one of his other videos he said he prefers the Russian 91% over the kayfun lite.

I saw that review, thanks. I don't need further convincing, just more wallet fat. The right way to put it would have been to say that I'm currently staring at the Russioan 91%

eGo-T 2.5 years ago only gave me something to do between cigs. I have considered upgrading this kit since about 6 months ago.

Aspire BDC tank 1 month ago and dropped dramatically on cigs the next day.

3 days later I bought an eGo spinner 1100 mAh kit. I completely quit smoking a week after.

Provari and Nautilus an V3 vivi tank 2 weeks later (or ago, same thing).

Currently looking at a Russian 91% and a small mechanical (possibly Reo) for hiking.

A reo paired with the reomizer is a most excellent vape, IMO

Original Volcano battery (blue clones basically). Broke the charger, decided it was junk.

Magma kit. Used for a while, annoyingly underpowered, still have to constantly charge.

Bought a Lava Tube. It was great while it lasted, but I had a major leak and a faulty gasket; fried the device. Back to the Magmas.

Magmas died, bought some egos. Got away from the Volcano brand. Okay product but overpriced. Used various egos for a while.

Got a mech mod and that's what I use now.

Last week of 11/13 - generic,650 mAh, blister pack, variable volt, passthrough, ego battery with generic bottom coil clearo that took Evod coils. The old ones with the shorter chimney I soon discovered. Couldn't find replacement coils anywhere, but the set up was enough to get me off cigarettes within 5 days. As a passthrough, I was able to vape while charging which let me get away with having only one device. I still recommend that newbies get two though. It was shear dumb luck I was able to get away with one. I found this forum and upgraded QUICKLY though.

Beginning of 12/13 - ITaste VVv3 with as Mini Protank II. This is my go to starter kit for newbies now. Let's them play with pretty much every function you can think of for regulated devices. The vape was a great improvement over my old ego kit. Only had it for a few days until my husband stole it though. Claimed his blister pack ego wasn't working right. He was correct in a way. It worked, but it couldn't perform like this set up.

Second week of 12/13 -MVP 2 and various kinds of clearos. Purchased this because hubby took the VVv3 and I found it for $40. Figured why not? Around the same vape as the VVv3 but lasting longer between charges and able to charge my phone as well. Great investment. I still have one of these. The best base for building coils ever, as it'll check the ohms and you can dry burn without needing to unscrew the topper. If it broke today, I'd still go buy another.

1/14 - Settled on IBTanked for toppers. Wasn't quite happy with ANY of the clearos I tried, and I tried a lot. Bonus that I could get them painted in girlie colors, thus keeping them safe from a vape gear thieving husband. Still switched him over to cartotanks as well though, as the cartos lasted longer then coils for him with his dark, coil slaying, juice.

2/14 - Started trading for rebuildables and started buying them as well. Started with a Nimbus clone and worked my way to a Kracken clone. Still preferred cartotanks for my commute.

4/14 - this was the 6 month vaping mark and I decided to buy my first, big ticket item to celebrate. I considered DNA devices, but they were a bit too pricey and difficult to find. Also, after reading so much here in the forums about it, I knew that regardless of what I bought I'd eventually break and buy a Provari anyway. Hunted down one of the last, pink, Provari Mini's available at a local brick and mortar so hubby couldn't steal it. I was blown away by the quality!

5/14 - Verified for classies and bought two more Provari's. One for hubby and one in the color I REALLY wanted (black and red hybrid) but didn't get because it wasn't girlie enough to be safe in a house with a vape gear thieving husband. Buying him one first however, made it safe. Also discovered Kayfun style tanks. Those have nearly replaced all my cartotanks, but hubby still uses his sometimes. He moved to the Kayfun as well. No girlie version available so I bought two right from the start in anticipation of him wanting one. I was right.

I started off, like so many others in this forum, on the cigalikes... specifically Blu eCig. Those lasted about 2-weeks. Then moved over to the eGo type batteries with a Vision Victory tank. The Vision Victory literally fell apart after about 2-months... cracked around the base of the tank, and I never put any "tank buster" juice in it. That's when I replaced it with the ProTank II. That was my gear until yesterday, when I bought a Vamo V5. I never thought I make the change to a mod, until yesterday anyway. I'm running a 1.9Ω coil at 9.0 watts and pretty pleased with this setup.

BTW, I've been off analogs since last August :), the 8th to be exact.

Cig alike with overpriced pre-filled cartridges
Ego with refillable cartridges and blue foam (and I still have some!)
Reo Grand with good old Bauway 510LR attys.
Been here for 3 years. It works, so why change it?
I went into a new local b&m last week. Showed the guy my reo grand, and he had no idea what it was and didn't have a clue about my 510LR attys. I guess vaping gear has passed me by. He tried to sell me some tank looking thingy, obviously not understanding the point of a bottom feeder. Guess I'll just keep buying attys online...

Started with the dreaded Blu. MORE Blu batteries as I struggled to make it work (still did not smoke.) Found eGos and Fasttech. FELL IN LOVE. Got 20+ eGo types...glittery, colorful, easy...used Vivi Novas (HATE) and various clearos. Leak, leak leak. Was somewhat satisfied, anyway. Rainbow Spinner and Rainbow EVOD Twist. (I still use these occasionally.)

Was gifted an Itaste vv by a fellow Forum friend. Discovered EVOD. LOVED. Bought 6 more (to date) Itastes. I love them. Still do love them. Started DIY juice. LOVED making my own juice... PIF all of my eGos and ce4s. Kept EVOD toppers.

MVP2 purchased. Mini Protank 3s...Hyper Tank clone. Ordered another (hot pink). Still loving the mPT3s...

Overall, I am satisfied with my gear. I just pulled the trigger on an SVD. On the advice of a trusted friend, and in recognition of the upcoming vacoplypse, I am going to order a RBA or two. (I imagine they will sit in a box until I truly need them.) I am currently trying to decide between a REO and Provari for the vacopolypse.

I started about 2 months ago. Had enough of the cigs.

Got a BuckNaked clearo kit. Terrible. Still smoking analogs, though a lot fewer of them.

Went to a vape shop 3 days later. They got me into an EVOD2 and an eGo Twist. Difference was night and day.
Now I had something to replace analogs.

Month later. Analog free. Rewarded myself with a mech mod, an RDA and a Kayfun.
I think one more Mech Mod, and the blue Kayfun I'm lusting over should about do it for me. And maybe another RDA...

I'm a gear guy in everything I do (Computers, Music, etc) So this has turned into a hobby already.
My wife isn't happy. But I'm always going to be suffering from GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) no matter what I do. So at least I quit smoking.

I'd been thinking about them for a while.

- Bought nicotine-free convenience store VaPUR menthol cigs and I was impressed with vapor production, although the throat hit was nonexistent. I thought "wow if this thing had nicotine in it and rattled my throat a bit, it would work."

- Couple months later I decided to take the plunge and bought an EVOD starter kit. WOW!! Nicotine, throat hit, vapor, swarms of scantily clad swimsuit models running up my driveway screaming (results may vary), the works. The analogs simply slipped out of consciousness silently.

- Discovered that tank crackers were my favorite juices so I got myself a mini protank 2 and that's where I'm at still and so far I don't want to upgrade any further.

Started with a 401 mini-cigalike, and switched quickly to a 801 pen-style.
Upgraded to a eGo 650 mah fixed voltage, all the rage at the time
Used a variety of atomizers, 501, 306, 901, 801, eGo mega B type, with blue foam or teabags.

Tried cartos, (yuck) and moved on to CE-2 (in all their variations), then the almost endless dual coil cartos.
The eGo batteries were good, but the toppers left a lot to be desired, moved on to MAP & Gummy tanks for more liquid capacity (and more leaks).
Moved up to some 14500 3.7V Settled in on 18650mods, home built NiMh, 5V buck and 6-7.4v mods in all sorts of combinations.
Settled in on 18650 mods for the longer battery life.

Bought some Vivi-Nova, Evod, CE4, etc as the topper market changed.
Invested in a couple VV 18650 mods and settled down, worked to make what I had work, figure what the issues were with each system or topper.
Tried a few Genesis and RDA toppers to recoil along with my other toppers and cartos.
Bought a couple K-100 mods as adjusting wattage with +/- a coil or two is easy, and I know what wattage range I want tp hit.

The thing I learned along the way is no system is perfect, but any can be made to produce a nice comfortable vape and good flavor. Some take a bit more work than others, but all can be tamed (with a few exceptions, most no longer made)

Cheap generic Cig-a-like thing

Sky-Cig (now known as Blu UK, which I actually really liked)

Riva 510 and these mini cleromizers which were the size of carts not the regular tanks

10 Motives and Nicolites (both had interchangeable batteries and carts), cig-a-likes, expensive but I could maintain them easier than constantly ordering and waiting for online stuff

CE5 tank with one of those generic manual 510 batteries

Ego EE2 kit: came with these cool tanks and batteries, battery broke

Kamry X6 VV battery and the EE2 tank

Kanger Aero Tank, but didn't change battery still the Kamry

MVP 2.0 and Kanger Aero-Tank is my current set up today :)
