Started almost 5 years ago - saw an ad for "SmokingEverywhere" with Danny Bonaduche for a free starter kit (but you had to pay for shipping) before I pulled the trigger I stumbled across ECF and started reading. Im glad I did.

Decided after reading reviews to pick up a EVO from Innovapor, which was an auto 402 with a 306 style raised or external coil atomizer.
Went from using the poly filler in the carts to trying the PTB (Pryamid Tea Bag) This along with intellicig's ECOPure ejuice is what got me off analogs. Eventually switched over to just dripping on the coil.

From there it was the Joye 510. Used for a year or so. Started buying them direct from China and selling as a side business (never took off)

Then I got into modding and started making 5 volt mods (the duracell power pack mod was one) Started making a 5 Volt mods out of any small container. Only issue was they were fragile and I was never very good at soldering. Still used 510 atties and carts started using cartomizers at this point. Wanted to get away from dripping as I was getting good at doing it while driving. (accident waiting to happen)

After I got bored with modding I tried my carto on my 510 but I didn’t like the fact that the only way I could tell it was empty was to pull in a nasty dry hit (blech) So I went back to dripping with my 510 but the battery life wasnt good enough so I picked up a RIVA.

Used the RIVA for a year or so (still dripping) and picked up an Apollo VV device which I used with dual coil cartomizers. Again, same issue with not being able to tell how much juice I had left.

Then went to EGO Twist. Still using 510 atty and dripping. I used this for another year.

Bought EVOD after trying my nephews and still use EGO Twist EVOD setup today. (this is about the time we actually started getting B&M’s within driving distance – up until this point EVERYTHING was bought online)

Picked up 2 Kayfun rebuildables, a Nemesis Clone and a Chai Yu which I currently use.

Its been a long road but very enjoyable and I do not regret any part of it.

Tried Blu about a year ago, didn't really take.

Last month, bought a real basic starter kit, ego battery and tank. Immediately liked it.

My girlfriend wanted a second batter, ended up with a iTaste VV, I liked the variable wattage/voltage, but wanted something bigger, so I got a Vamo V5 about two weeks ago.

Also wanted to eventually try mech mods, but figured I'd have to wait some time, until the local B&M got a bunch of extremely generic clones that were $40, so I got one of those with a drip tip.

Still use all three (well, I had to buy a new ego battery when the first one broke). The ego for times when I don't want to use a huge piece, the Vamo for when I'm out and about, and the mech when I somewhere that I can easily re-drip when necessary.

Last July I decided to try one of those e-cig things and see what the hype was all about, I had no intention of quitting smoking. I was 65 and had tried just about every way in the book to quit and had resigned myself to the fact that I was simply going to choke to death soon.

Funny thing is I liked the blu disposable and went to the local smoke shop to see if they had anything rechargeable, they did another cig a like. That day and the next I realized I had only smoked 4 cigs and I decided to do a bit of research online and found ECF where I discovered a lot of helpful people who suggested I get an Ego-C Twist and some clearos. By the end of the month I was down to 2 cigs a day without really trying but was reading and participating in some forums here.
August 15th I smoked my last cig and was on the road to finding juice that really worked and a better delivery device, I tried an Innokin VV V3 and started the long road of the perfect tank, I tried a lot and found them all wanting.

Around Christmas time I ordered a Provari and got talked into trying an RDA, a Trident clone, me who was never ever going to try building and wicking coils. A little before this I ordered an SID because I wanted something with a replaceable battery , it was ok, but when the Provari came the SID went in the emergency box, I had also tried a lot of juices, most huge disappointments.

I tried some higher end juice and finally was getting some real satisfaction, the Trident on the Provari was working out very nicely and I really was able to make coils and wicks. I was still using the Ego's and Aspire clearos for out and about.

The pretty, shiny, bug hit me and I got a Nemesis clone and a Origen clone and ventured into dual coils. I really wasn't happy about buying clones so I decided I wanted an authentic and got a CV1 Virtus and was gifted an authentic Patriot with a gold cap and then a LE Copper Red Stingray and a Brass Monkey to put on top of that. I switch flavors a lot every day so I actually use all of these with the exception of the Egos which were still reserved for out and about along with two eRolls which are fine but leaky and like the Egos will eventually die.

I don't care for the form factor of box mods, but I wanted a tank that didn't require constant dripping, I just read too much about problems with the RBA's to want to go there. Forum friends continued to proclaim the wonders of the Reo I resisted and resisted until a couple of weeks ago when my twin ( I'm Gemini) took over and I gave in and ordered a Reo mini. Now I'm getting ready to order a Reo Grand. LOL

I only use premium juice now, MOV, Nicoticket, and Ahlusions and I will never smoke again. I have juice, batteries, wire, and wicking material stashed to get me through whatever the FDA throws at us.

·Ego starter kit (2-900 mah ego batteries & clearomizers)
·Various toppers w/the ego's like the MT3's, Evods, Unitank, G50 & Protank2
·SID & Protank2 & cartotanks then back to the PT2
·ProVari & PT2 to AGA-T3 to Ehpro KFL
·Another ProVari and an IGO-L dripper

The last two are my main set-ups and have worked the best for me in my 10 month journey. I don't know if things will change but right now I'm satisfied.

Like a lot, I started with an Ego battery and EVOD topper. After two days I had quit smoking and was vaping exclusively.
Two weeks later I got a VV Kanger clone of some type and loved the new taste I was getting with the voltage.
After starting with just a tobacco flavor I found that I like fruit/berry flavors much more, so purchased some more EVOD's so I could have a variety of vapes during the day
Picked up a ProTank 2 and discovered I liked glass much more than plastic toppers
Got into DIY and discovered that I could make some juices that I liked more than what I was buying
Wife bought me a Tesla for my birthday and a Kanger Aero tank to go with it
Found an Aero base for the ProTank2 (which makes a world of difference)
Next, a Provari....

Wow, couple of mentions of stuff I haven't thought about in some time. Anyone need some blue foam? PTB?

Started with some junky cig-a-like I got on-line, RN4081 I think, don't really remember. Moved from that to 801 penstyles. Used those for a long time but got really sick of how often they leaked all over. A friend had a Blu and I tried that. Started to order one on-line and got some hits on Volcano. Went with the Volcano instead. Was pretty satisfied with it after modding the carts. Soon after that started building box mods for myself and a few friends. I kept up with the Volcanos as they brought new products, Magma, Inferno, Lavatube, but mostly used box mods, some store bought, some home grown.

Recently, got back into the ego style batts and am currently mostly using a Smok Majestic ARO II kit. I still keep a Volcano l88b with CE/2 carto around with some higher strength juice in it and a couple of box mods at my desk at home.

About a year ago I went through my junk boxes and got rid of a lot of the older, broken, worn out, etc gear. I'd hate to ever find out how much I've really spent on all of that. But I've really enjoyed the trip, learned a lot, meet a lot of nice people.

Started with the occasional Lotus disposable in late 2012
First 'real' setup late June 2013 - ego mini with a Kanger T2
Next it was an itaste vv 3.0 and mvp with evods, protank 2, mini protank 2, started building coils

Now I'm using a Provari with a Kayfun 3.1 at work, at home I drip with a Valkyrie and a Stingray/Stillare.

NJoy ---> Blu ---> Egos of various styles ---> Currently I bounce around between MVP2 Vamo 2's and & 5 as well as 2 mech's. I'm liking the mechs more and more. Really liking the Smok Magneto. Tanks are a different story. My 'everyday' is the iClear30. Probably have 8 of them. Tried a Genesis and a Rocket rebuildable.

I was never able to get the hang of the Genesis wicking/coiling. Tried SS mesh, silica, etc. either I would burn my juice or dry hit or get great vapor with zero flavor. The Rocket is a different story and I have another rebuildable somewhere in the China Postal system heading to me.

1993: Started smoking.... was up to two packs of Marlboro Red 100's or Camel 99's a day.

2000-2006 Used the patch, gum, inhaler, medications (ugh!) to no avail.

2006 First attempt at e-cigs with Smoke-51's from a mall kiosk. Epic failure and crazy expensive.

2008
Another attempt with the gum and inhaler. Couldn't satisfy cravings.

2012 I tried Blu. Didn't satisfy my cravings due to quality control issues.

2013 I tried my first eGo starter kit. Graduated to VV/VW.

2014 Graduated to RBA's.

My current setups are my Vamo V5 at work. Seven-22 at home. Vision Spinner II for the car. My favorite RBA's are the Fogger V4+ and Kayfun 3.1 . My favorite regular tanks are the Aspire Nautilus and Aerotank Mega. Mechs: I do have a Sigelei #8 and a Nemesis but they are mostly used by guests. I prefer my VV/VW systems over mechanicals.

I'll never go back to smoking and I'm STILL not spending a fraction of what I was on tobacco.

Oh god, don't remind my bank account about what I've been through. :D Let's try to do this in chronological order. It's more of a roller-coaster than most folks' experience.

1 pack of Camel Crush analogs a day to...

- SmokeTip 808
- Volcano (3 piece with cartridges)
- Volcano Magma (510 T)
- Volcano Inferno (like an Ego-T)
- Lavatube 1.5
- AGR carto tank with Boge LR cartos
- then around this time, I went totally bananas:
  • Protank, Protank 2, Evods, iClear 30, Vivi Nova
  • Lavatube 2.5
  • Vamo 2
  • MVP 2
  • VTR
  • Vmod XL
  • iTaste VV
  • Ego Twists
  • eRoll
- sold ALL of the above and went all the way down to just Halo Triton products
- iClear 30S
- Smok SID
- re-purchased an eRoll
- attempted to get into rebuilding:
  • a couple Kayfun clones (sold)
  • IGO-L/Smok Octopus/Patriot
  • Sentinel M16 (sold)
- PRESENT DAY: back to good ol' Halo Tritons, but will be ordering an Aerotank Mega, Aerotank Mini, and some Evod batteries this week

Ugh. I could've been able to afford a friggin' helicopter by now or something, with all of that money. Oh wait, except I'd still be smoking 20 cigs a day and may not be alive. Uh... the helicopter can wait. Vape on!

I gotta start over:

-Belvedere
-Player's Light
-Camel
-Camel Light
-Peter Jackson (yes, it's a cigarette brand!)
-John Player Special, Players Special Blend
-Marlboro light, Du Maurier, Player's Light
-Mark Ten (for like 10 years!)
-Ego T for 2.5 years
21 year mark

-Aspire BDC tank
-eGo spinner 1100mAh with large Aspire BDC tank
10 Days into vaping = no more cigs
-Provari with Nautilus
-Russian 91%
34 days after the 21 year mark.

Who's quitting what ?? More like evolving, really!

Basic kanger start up kit with a protank. Moved up to a provari pretty quick and absolutely loved it. After a month or so I decided to take a stab at an RBA and picked up a kayfun lite.
For the past 3 months I've been hooked on my GP Paps X and a plethora of drippers but I always go back to my Patriot. I just picked up a vaporshark dna30 mod.
