Got my first e cig in a night market in bangkok thailand after smoking 40 a day on the beach. Total rubbish and overpriced for what it was but it did make me think. " wow, if this crappy unknown e cig gives me a tiny semblance of smoking satisfaction then there must be better?"

Well I had to wait another few months before i had returned home when i upgraded to a Green smoke pro set ( having tried a few crazy priced njoys). It really worked and for a month I was content and had turned 40 or 30 day to a very cool 5. And at the back of my mind was it still must be better.

Feverish internet research and forum questions and I feel I am jumping deep with the mvp2...at least looks wise. you are fooling no one into thinking that steel block is a cigarette. Added with ce5, this is different, its great but it leaks and can taste funny and not sure if ill show my aunt yet but I am fairly happy, but still you know more is out there.

Just a small impulse buy of vv3 and can feel okay vaping in the street now. added with some aspire and wow, this is actually quite good.

More research i feel like I am going crazy and drippers come up. I have too many drippers to mention now, most are just impulse but that got me on to coils and many different builds and choices....damn, more research and those damn rip trippers vids which i'll never be bothered to try but like looking at. I go -l, trident(clone) mini drippers etc etc. Actually yesterday I just got a fasttech quasar which i do like alot.

more research and kayfuns and taifuns of different types. Things are great, more research and boom. The Sophia. Took me a while to get my good set up but that is where I am at. Probably missed a bit of stuff but that is the gist. I am very happy now with my sophia.

reading through ive missed out all the batt stuff and mechs, Kinda scary when its written down. I must be addicted

Anyway all that coiling was cumbersome and got nautilus. ......

"Back in the day" was November of 2011. I started with an eGo-sized APV. This was an E-Power 14650, a brushed stainless steel semi-regulated tube mod that used a protected 14650 battery and cartomizers. I used some of the bigger-brand 24mg juice. Tobacco flavored juice was the first my choice at 70/30 PG/VG.

The first thing to change was the battery I was using. Safer chemistry and harder-hitting IMR batteries became available so I shifted to those.

I was done with the 35-year cigarette habit the following summer. This was the summer of my discontent with commercial e-juice. I was hating the flavors. They were all tasting like hair tonic. And they were expensive. My nose was getting chapped and sore. I discovered that I didn't need flavored juice at all and started to mix my own VG juice. I was now vaping better juice for a fraction of the cost and was really diggin' the taste of unflavored nicotine. The nicotine fell from 24mg to 20mg to 18mg, 15mg and currently 12mg.

One year later the E-Power 14650 was relegated to the back-up equipment shelf. I stayed with the brushed stainless steel tube mod form factor. I like a rig that fits my jeans pocket. What I got was shorter, fatter and heavier. Now I have two Sigelei Zmax telescopic V3s and a V5. These are VV/VW with rock-solid voltage regulation.

About this time the cartos morphed into carto tanks. Less fuss.

At this point don't have a mech. I don't wind my own coils and don't plan to. I'm happy with the vapor production I have now.

650-900mah eGo w/ ce4's

650-900mah eGo w/ Evods

1300mah eGo w/ mt3s/t3s

MVP v2 with mt3s/t3s/evod/X9 protanks.

Haven't used the ce4s since the second week I started over a year ago. I still use 1300mah wide egos for out and about. I like keeping things simple, luckily I don't have the need to keep buying new shiny ecig stuff.
