So many adverts and people state all the time that you heat the e-liquid, breathe it in and then breathe out a harmless water vapour with no ill effect to anyone around you.

But that doesn't sit well with me.

How does heat suddenly through some magic transmogrification turn C3H8O2 and C10H14N2 (and whatever flavourings there are) are H20?

Can I have a Jesus atomiser that produces wine instead?

I'm all for e-cigs. I'm not for lies and spreading of misinformation.

Unless I'm wrong, of course.

No one should be claiming it's water vapor. Because it's not. It's a fog machine basically. It's the same chemical composition (if using PG) as the fog used at a dance hall or theatre performance. There's a huge amount of data and research on the effects of commercial fog - all of which points to no known long term health issues. I'm not saying all is known yet, because it certainly is not. But everone who uses PV's agrees (and hopes) that we're in a much better place than the known issues with regular cigarrettes!! Interesting the FDA is okay with them! The only product that used as directed will kill you.

You are correct in pointing this out. I for one didn't do the math, but saw it so often that I accepted it, while knowing in the back of my mind that there was the pg or vg etc.. in the vapor. Again, my bad for being lazy.

However, to come out and call me a liar is rather harsh and I take GREAT offense to it. I am as open, if not more, open than the next guy to be corrected when I'm wrong and am more than willing to own up to it.

However, a lie is when someone consciously makes a decision to not tell the truth. When someone repeates what they believe to be true or, as in my case, simply accepted on face value without checking the facts, maybe misstating but is most certainly not a liar. To call me and others in the same situations a liar is rude, uncaring and not particularly a very nice person.

So I will aplogize for my mistake and be certain to be more accurate in the future.

Will you apologize for getting in my face and being a jerk?
