Woe is me:(I'm reading all of your posts about how great the Theorem is. I, too, ordered from VapeSourcing with an extra set of notch coils. VapeSourcing did nothing wrong but USPS did. I live in Boston and when my tracking showed it at the Boston facility it then shipped to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania! I just got off the phone with USPS and they called it a missend. I'm going on vacay May 3. Hope it gets here before then :-x

Thanks for the welcome! Looks like they moved the date again to May on AngelCigs. It's my first time pre ordering from anywhere, I guess I was just unlucky this time. I bit the bullet and bought one from my local shop for $28. Guess the AngelCigs one will have to be my spare, once it gets here.

I tried it out last night, and was getting burn hits using my IPV D2 @ 14 watts! Was super bummed out. I tightened the hex screws and everything.

Then I decided to pop it into my smok Cube Mini, and now it vapes fine @ 44 watts. Thats so strange why the IPVD2 was giving me burn hits.

Anyhow here's my initial review, using Smok Mini mod.

Hits pretty well, the flavor is very pronounced. I used the dual airflow ring, and so far so good. I hate to say it, but if I had to compare to the Avacado, the Avacado would still edge this out. I'm using the notch coil, it does heat up fast, but I feel I will enjoy it more when I sitch out to my alien wire or my claptons.

It looks sexy as hell, a beauty to behold for sure.

Im used to using the wide boar tip on my Avacado, so this smaller glass drip tip on the Theorem didnt feel as strong, but the flavor cant be denied.

I will keep using throughout the week with different type coils and keep you guys updates.

And thanks for the tips and advice guys, I appreciate the warm welcome here.

Im a vape addict lol, I love getting all the latest new stuff, Im a sucker for sexy, sleek, high end looking devices and mods.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you, seems like the hardcore of the hardcore hangout here; finally some people I can relate to about vaping online.
Welcome Jard:)Nice to hear a new voice. I've always wondered about my D2, as well.

Finally gave up on Angelcigs and ordered from OriginVape yesterday. Tracking number was issued within hours, it arrived at the sorting facility last night, and this morning it's "in transit to the destination". Probably take 3 days, since I only paid for first class mail, from New York to Los Angeles, but in any case will definitely arrive before Angelcigs even gets theirs in stock. Tracking now says expected delivery on Friday. I didn't cancel my pre-order with Angelcigs - it'll be my second one if/when it arrives.

Wismec Theorem RTA by Jaybo & SMM - Origin Vape

OriginVape says they're still in sock, and on sale for $19.99 (plus $4 for 1st class shipping). Total even comes out $1 cheaper than Angelcigs. Hint hint, people.

This is my first post, felt I had to chime in because like many of you, I too pre-ordered from AngelCigs way back on April 6th. Its been delayed 3 times. It wouldn't be so bad if it was China's fault for the delay, but now that so many vendors across the USA have it in stock, and so many of you already have yours in hand, it is messed up that Angel Cigs, a supposed professional respected company, would drop the ball on this so hard.

I only choose them because it seemed like lot of the famous YouTube reviewers vouched for them, plus the fact that they were taking pre-orders since the beginning of April and had a supposed "USA, CA" warehouse where it would be shipping from. I understand delays and mistakes happen, but for independent eBay sellers and mom and pop stores to already carry them, I cant see how AngelCigs can justify this.

They emailed us saying it was delayed due to "faulty glass" or some such, but this is just ridiculous.

I've been checking this site which I found on google typing in "wismec theorem delays" a few weeks ago, and have been checking back everyday to read the comments.

Im glad most of you who didnt order through AngelCigs got them so quickly, and awesome to hear all the rave reviews.

I really want to pre-order the SX Mini Q Class as well, but no way I'm going through AngelCigs again. They did reply to me email inquiries about my order, but was given minimal information and no guarentee of when I would have it in hand. I just checked my order again now and it doesnt even have a shipping/tracking number tied to it.

Can anyone recommend a trusted company with a great track record that would be best for ordering my SX Mini Q?

I hope to become more involved with this group, looks like a great tight knit group of enthusists like myself infected with the sickness of getting "the newest vape sh*t".
There should be a list of recommended vendors. Have you checked the vendor thread(s)? It's difficult because people have varying experiences with the same vendor. If I can order stateside I usually do. Nothing against some of the Chinese companies but so much can go wrong between here and there. And I like supporting US vendors. But that's just me. I swore off pre-sales but the Theorem threw me off my pegs! Getting back to your question, there definitely is a group of trusted vendors that I think all of us could agree on. And sometimes it depends on what type of gear you're buying.

That wraps it up for me. I swore off pre-sales but the Theorem threw me in a tizzy and now I'm paying for it. Wasn't the vendor's fault but USPS screwed up royally. I just take it as a sign that I should absolutely resist temptation in the future. Not worth the stress. See? Like you said, "Cheaper than Angelcigs". And fast, great service. Origin is one of the best.

Haven't checked this thread in a few days... So glad to see that most are really liking their Theorem!

As far as Angelcigs goes, they are now on my "do not order" list. They're probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd stay far, far away if you're thinking of ordering from them. They straight up lied about the delays on shipping. I emailed them on Friday about refunding my money and I specifically stated that I didn't want a store credit and I didn't want to wait and that they needed to refund my money asap. They replied back the next day with "are you sure you don't want to wait, we will ship next week" but didn't say what exact day they would ship. So I emailed them again and said "no, I don't want to wait, refund my money now" and 24 hours later they responded with "do you want to use the money to buy other stuff?" I was irate by that point and had already called my credit card company to do a chargeback. The bank immediately put my money back and I ordered from Origin Vape. Angelcigs can deal with my bank now. What a crappy vendor!

Origin Vape has been great! Eric sent me an email letting me know he was there to help. I like when companies are a little more personal. My only complaint is that I paid for priority 2 day but they didn't ship until the next day at like 7pm despite placing the order at like 9am the previous day. But that's ok, it has been shipped, it's en route to me, and should be here tomorrow as long as USPS doesnt screw it up. I can't freakin wait. I feel like I've been waiting forever for this RTA. I've been so jealous of everyone that already has theirs.

TL;DR don't order from Angelcigs.com, they are a horrible company that lies to their customers. Order from Origin Vape!!

Welcome @JARD! This is a wonderful community, everyone is very friendly & nice. I did a goggle search for you on the SX Mini Q & it seems to be on preorder everywhere. Don't know if you want to go that route again. But Vapordna, vapenw, myvaporstore are all pretty reliable vendors. Vapenw does 20% of preorders though, go check their site. Hope this helps.
LOL!!! And VapeNW is the one I wouldn't have recommended even if they were the last vendor on earth.
That just goes to show how we all have many different experiences with some of the same vendors.

I also prefer ordering from US vendors- it's one of the reasons I stopped shopping at Fasttech (China). The other reason is I don't have the patience for long ship times. The only reason I started buying from Angelcigs is because they are Fasttech USA based.

For anyone still waiting on Angelcigs to ship, when did you preorder?
I dont remember how long preorder was up but I didn't do it until 4/4.
Mine shipped yesterday & if USPS is on their A-game I'll have it tomorrow.

The thing is when it comes to preorders, it's a crapshoot. I avoid preorders because I've come to the conclusion that a lot of times you will get it faster and or cheaper by waiting until they start hitting the stores. The exception would be preordering something from the company that makes it. For example preordering a Volcano Lavabox from Volcano. Just my :2c:. The stores themselves really don't have control who the company ships to first and how many.

Cheers,
Steve

Seems that the notch coil is the hot new thing! Another tank that utilizes a notch in a pre-made coil:
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10011884/4715301-authentic-eleaf-lyche-tank-clearomzier
I gotta say, I'm a bit intrigued with that tank. I've never heard of Lyche, but this may be something to look into! The side fill port is kinda neat.

Edit: Im Stupid and didn't read the whole thing. Lyche is the name of the tank and it's Eleaf that's making it. So now i don't know, Eleaf isn't the best company in my opinion.

Eleaf, Wismec, Joyetech...all kind of the same thing. Subsidiaries of the same parent.

Yes, they are subsidiaries of the same company. However, I have had more problems and seen more complaints about Joyetech and Eleaf devices more than a lot of other companies. They just don't seem to have the same eye for design and technology that Wismec does (Well, I'm mostly referring to the Jaybo projects that he's done in collaboration with Wismec.) Wismec has just been releasing good stuff lately, in my opinion. But, you know, everyone has their favorite manufacturers and I'm no different.

I just find joyetech and eleaf products to be buggy, ugly, and unimaginative for the most part.

Said this more to say the notch coils are coming for the tanks with the same parent company. They'll capitalize on them in their own products first. They have a hell of a coil there.

Picked up a Theorem and an iStick Pico today, very impressed with such a small setup! Flavour is excellent, and there's plenty of room to tune it. If it's not flavourful enough, just raise your coil a little, you can go from "flavour in the vapour" to "might as well just drink the juice" depending on your tastes.

The notch coils vape really well, no doubt about that, but they are very flimsy. I put a couple of tanks through the stock cotton (confirmed, it drinks the juice!) and decided to rewick with rayon, and managed to snap the leg off it straight away. Swapped it out for the other one and managed it, but I did have to hold the end of the coil with a fingernail to stop the rayon moving the coil about - this could mainly be the fault of the rayon however, since it has to be a pretty tight fit. I imagine regular cotton would slide in much more easily.

Airflow is a little fiddly, but it's similar to the Indestructible, once you've found your sweet spot, just set and forget. I'm favouring the single slot, over the top of the coil. I can't notice a great deal of difference between either method of single airflow, but the flavour is a little muted using both, so single it is for me.

All in all a great tank, very glad I cancelled my fasttech order and picked one up in my B&M!

I've found the same thing. I think dual airflow is a little much for a single coil. Mutes the flavor a bit.

You're right.

When a preorder ships without delay we're like lil kids in a candy store but the min there's a delay we're ready to throw temper tantrums. :sneaky:
When there are delays some vendors reach out to let the customers know why & when it may possibly ships.
Other vendors hide under a rock & hope you can't find them.

Got mine today. Pulled the cotton from the notch coil and wicked with rayon. Wasn't getting a warm enough vape with any of the airflow combinations. Pulled out the notch coil and threw in a standard (for me) fused Clapton 26/34 n80/SS316 3mm 6 wraps and wicked with rayon. Ah, there it is.
