To those of you that have received the theorem in - did it require a lot of cleaning to removing machining residue? did the notch coils require and cleaning at all - curious as they come with cotton already loaded.
Nah I didnt need any cleaning the machinery was great and no smell of machine oil so I just went ahead and wicked it and vaped it lol

Holy crap the flavor on this thing. I can't believe I'm getting so much of it running at 2.8V/31 watts (!!!!). Resistance reading at .21. I'm slowly notching it up .1 volt at a time, I imagine my standard will be around 3.2V, which is still nuts considering every kanthal build I run at least 3.8, and usually more like 4.2-4.5.

Also, for anybody who, like me, kept hearing about how you need to cut the wicks short and do the "genny tilt" and groaned inside, take a look at these pics. Turns out no tilting is required (unless you're running very high PG juice, maybe).

You can see here in the first pic that the surface tension of my 60vg liquid is more than enough to make the juice level climb up to meet the wick (rayon here). In the second pic you can see the same tank from the side view, and that the actual juice level is much lower.

So yeah, wicks itself just fine with short wicks, no tilting necessary.

*edit* Oh, also, for rayon users out there wondering how it wicks, you can see there how I did it. Sally's, that's about 80% of the strip's original thickness out of the bag, then about 75% of that amount trimmed off once I pulled it through the coil, so the part dangling in the tank is only about 25% of the in-coil thickness. Zero signs of leaking, wicking fine with my chain vaping so far.

Definitely hold onto the coil with a fingernail when you pull the wick through. It'll still deform a bit in the middle, but it'll pop right back. I think if I had tried to pull the rayon through without putting a fingernail on the coil I would have started to really bend the leads.

Ive been looking at it these couple of days and now realized the black peek material has a small o ring but mine has a problem cause it doesnt close tight the juice hole and that is why just by tilting it it leaks....worst of all my spare bag doesnt have that spare small o ring dang it!
My spare oring for the reducer was on the included Allen key in the bag

I'm definitely going to try with rayon! Thanks so much for the tips! Was just excited to try right out of the box. :thumb:

What does it look like, a small translucent o-ring? I found a very small translucent o-ring when I opened the box and I wasn't sure what it went to, but I'm thinking it might go on the reducer since I don't think I see an o-ring on it.

Yah I know its suppose to be there, but the weird thing is my package was all brand new but that o ring is missing so I contacted the seller and He aswell doesn't understand how that happened and apparently I dont have a choice but to use this leaky Theorem.....cause those o rings arent sold separately....really sucks

yes thats the O ring for the black peek material that closes the hole for the liquid chamber

I would definitely contact Wismec to see if they can send one to you.

Thankfully I found the small translucent o-ring that goes to the reducer which I set aside. I can't say that I'm overwhelmed by Wismec's quality control given that two o-rings were not properly installed and one of them was not included. Even with the o-ring on the reducer I get leakage when the Theorem is on it's side. It's not a big deal as I consider it to be more like a dripper than a tank and I will treat it as such. For $20 I have no regrets.

Received mine in the mail yesterday, so far i really like it. make sure you check the leads for the coil though. the Positive lead was not trapped under the screw all the way. i loosened everything up and re positioned the leads. That would be my only con with this atomizer, the positive post. other than that, I've tried several different viscosity liquids, 70pg/30vg, 50/50, and 80vg/20pg, all work well with this. If your an old school vaper like I am, then you probably had a Genny when they were popular, same wicking rules apply when working with cotton or rayon. Thin the wick when going into the tank so air can escape when filling it up, and there is no need to have more than a few millimeters of wick in the tank. when you tilt to vape, it will wick. If your wick is too thin, so what, it will drain back down easily. Now I wish it were taller to get 5-7ml in the tank. That would be nice, but im not complaining. This is a great improvement on an older style design. I really enjoy the flavor, haven't tried a MTL set up yet, but that will come soon, With the single airflow ring attached, I'm pretty pleased with the draw. The airflow ring is a little of a pain to get adjusted just right, but once you get used to it, it isn't bad. set it and forget it. I'm very happy with this one.

Can someone describe the draw on this thing? Can it be closed far enough for a comfortable MTL? As a point of reference, the Aromamizer on it's lowest setting was still too open for me.

Also, while I still intend to build my own, the pre-mades do intrigue me....any word if they will offer a variety of resistences? I have vaped 0.2 at higher wattages and it's not my thing...I prefer 0.8-1.0 at around 28W.

I would say pretty close, at least SMM felt it could. I used the dual air flow ring yesterday and left it about 1/4 of the way open... it was a pretty tight draw, but YMMV.

I've heard nothing about offering different resistances in the notched coil, but I believe, according to what I heard, that may be difficult because of how thin the notch coils are.

I vape it at 30W MTL using the top airflow option. Works fine. Different resistances, probably not for a while. These coils are very new and aren't really available in mass quantities yet. But getting up to .8 - 1 ohm on a notched coil isn't going to happen in this form factor.

I received the original Theorem that I ordered from china today. It's set up with the single air flow ring with front air flow. I'm using a different juice and it has never tasted so good. I know people are going to experiment with different builds of their own, but one of the reasons I liked this atty so well is that it came with branded notch coils. And probably won't experiment for some time if ever. I built coils because it was the only way to get the vape I wanted. Now I don't have to... at least in this atty. With my Griffin(s) (I have another on the way), I'll continue to build because they are that good.

p.s. I changed it to the dual air flow. I like having air hitting this atty from 2 directions.

well i pulled the trigger and ordered one. the only other rta's i have are a bachelor and 2 stm's. i'm really hoping i'm in for a treat! mostly i use 24g ti wire, but i'm interested in how the notch coils work in tc. mine's coming from origin and i expect it pretty quick.

Anyone find orings that fit? Would love to have black orings just matches my mods better
Thanks
Not yet, I've been asking around. But no luck yet. I roughly measured the o rings if you look in previous posts. @Headinthecloud suggested I go through my o ring stash & try to find one that fit. Then go on eBay to look for that brands atty. haven't had a chance yet. Please let me know if you have any luck. I will post it here if I find the right fit.
