Which airflow setting are you using? I'm trying to like mine, so far, it's just ok.
Bearing in mind I've only been using it for about 45 minutes but so far I'm with you. Not very impressed with the notch coil in temp control or wattage. Hoping fused Clapton's will liven it up...

They do, but a single fused left much to be desired. Dual verticals brought more to life, but I used fused 28 instead of 26 that I normally use so it's still not enough.

so the Angelcigs order I had before I cancelled may have come the same day as my origin order. I'm racing home now to get mine out of the mailbox. I'm still glad I ordered through Origin and cancelled the Angelcigs order though.
So you cancelled but Angelcigs still shipped it to you?

Maybe send an email asking about the status as a gentle reminder? The owner, Eric, is great and responded to my emails quickly.[/QUOTE]

i did email them and got a prompt reply. they said there was a printer glitch as far as the tracking number went and it may well be in my box tomorrow. i'll take them at their word and hope i have it soon for now. i do a lot of shopping on line and almost always get good results. i'm just a bit frustrated because i have two other non-vape shipments that are far overdue.
so i sit and happily vape my bachelor while i wait.

No, Angelcigs didn't send me one. I cancelled. I was saying that if I had kept the order it might have come today because another person said they got theirs from Angelcigs today.

I absolutely love it!! And I think the notch coil is amazing. So much flavor and it wicks like a dream. No leakage, easy to fill, easy to wick, tastes awesome, and huge clouds! What more could I ask for? And all at only 45 watts!

No sure if I like it in temp control but further testing is needed. This is the tank I've been looking for since i started vaping.

Now we're talking... Switched the notch for dual 26 gauge SS316 claptoned in 32 kanthal, 3 mm, 6 wrap at .25 ohm. Temp control 40 watts at 470 F. Vapor isn't huge but flavor is pretty good with half open dual airflow.

Damn this thing gets hot though!

You know what they say... There is no such thing as a coincidence. If that was the case- Shame on them! you know they probably have more margin in the clones. I ordered a second one from Originvape on Sunday night that I am vaping on right now. Still waiting for the VapeNW one that I pre-ordered a month ago... My hats off to OriginVape, they have been awesome so far(and this is not my first order from them)!

:thumb: Thanks! I've gotta look up how to do it, lol. I've never wrapped my own Claptons.
If you have around a 26 or 28 ga. you can do 10-11 wraps and achieve mostly the same effect if in parallel or twisted. Lower resistance, but the juice soaking you are looking for is still achieved.

Vertabraids are super easy to make and work pretty good too though you need 32 gauge preferably if you want to run duals (dual 6 wrap, 2.5 mm is about .2 ohms). 30 gauge works good for single coils (one 6 wrap, 2.5 mm is about .2 ohms)

Clapton wrapped vertabraids are even better!
