Got my Theorem last week and finally had some time over the weekend to play with it. Very impressed with the performance once I got rid of the included notch coil. It wasn't horrible, but I just could not get it wicked so that it performed to my satisfaction.

Tried a standard kanthal build (single horizontal coil) which worked much better. But my favorite build so far has been with another type of notch coil -- the ones from iJoy. Similar design to the Wismec notch, but the iJoys are 3.5mm in diameter. Better wicking performance, great flavor and zero ramp up. Really low resistance, though (0.15 ohm). Running it in TC mode at about 480 degrees.

Liking the coils so much that I ordered 2 more boxes this morning.

I love this thing. The flavor is the best I've had and juice consumption is solid with a fused Clapton. Someone else recommended using the dual airflow and closing it down at least half way so you are getting airflow from the front and rear. This to me was key as it launched flavor into the moon. I wasn't a huge fan of the notch coil as even with cleaning I felt the flavor lacked. Between this and the Griffin 25 I now have I feel the perfect combination of tanks. Something will probably come out next month that will combine the two, but until then... Vape On!

Recieved a theorem on Thursday, and have been messing with it a little. I am enjoying the vape, but it seems the notch coil gets gunked up really quick. After a few tanks the coil looks like crap with a good amount of black residue... I'm wondering if it's just the juice? Anyone else finding the notch coil needs to be rewicked/dryburned more frequently than other coils?

Nice pic SS! I'm running the same setup (with the eVic) and loving it (seems like it was made for this mod almost). Question tho. From the pic it looks like you've filled right up to the coil? I haven't filled above the elevated portion, cause I was leery of spitting. You don't get spitback? Or am I not seeing the pic right?

I installed a single alien coil today thanks to a fellow board member (not sure if I am allowed to tag them). 3 core 26n80 with 36n80 wrap. Came out to .24ohm and at 70w with the single airflow adapter has completely saved this thing for me.

Filling it up that high results in a month full of juice. I initially blamed it on the Theorem until after the juice was below the coil did I realize it was too much.
How many here are able to fill it to the coil & not end up drinking juice?

Laying here watching Tv- 45 min later from time of my last post with mod on my lap, entire tank empty. I'm wearing the juice.
Interestingly enough the other day when I was out it was upside down in my pocket & no leaks so I can't understand why it leaked this time while lying on it's side.

Yeah I think it has to do with the pressure in the tank when upsize down versus on its side. If you remember the vid when Jaybo said he was testing & put the tank upside down on his desk went home & in the morning no leaks. But he obviously didn't test out laying it on its side.

Honestly any tank I've had will leak when on its side for extended periods. No leaks out of my theorem yet, but my og aromamizer finally leaked for the first time yesterday. It was because I left it on its side for probably a 4 hour car ride... Until then not a single leak.
I've had tanks lying on its side for months & no leaks. 23mm STM attached to a mod standing upright & it leaked all over the place; more than once.

From the pics, try this, take a toothpick or syringe tip or anything long & thin & slide it between the glass tank & wick to release some of the juice on the of your wicks. Also according to Matt's SMM's vid do that also along side your wick to allow some air in. I think that maybe too much juice is collecting above the juice well & is flooding the top where the peek insulator is & is creeping up & out the airflow. Worth a shoot.
Lol did all SMM said in his video and yep nothing has worked so far lol so just gotta leave it at home and vape it indoors lol a real shame....:(

anyone use this tank as an out and about, pocket it? bag it? does the glass section come off easily? kind of want to try it but if its only for indoor use might skip.
Well the glass doesnt slip out but it leaks from the top so I dont carry it around~funny thing is others say that they have 0 leaks so I guess I must have a faulty one
