other than the manufacturers... nobody denies that the technology is incomplete, (see my previous "beta-testing" references) but if you hunt around... or even simply ask in a "close enough to subject" thread, you will find all kinds of helpful suggestions on making the model of ecig you own work better and longer.

my personal learning curves so far are... blowing out atomizers.. sticking pointy objects int the battery end of the atomizer to adjust the screen  making sure i have extras of EVERYTHING... topping off cartridges with liquid... being picky/choosy about where i buy my stuff... and that i NEED to make one of madog's magnums LOL.

some of it seems a bit of a chore... but hey... alot of us are trying to use this to quit analog smokes... this is not nearly the chore of trying to do that without it.

btw... i wanted to thank everybody here for all the usefull intel i've recieved from trolling the board. here's to a world of future happy bunnies vaping our lives away!!:thumb:

Long time, no post 20aday. Could this be because your a plant that works for Phillip Morse tobacco? Are you off making rounds in other forums trying to discourage newcomers and save the company's profit? Surly I jest, I know what it's like to get your hopes up only to get ripped off by a defective or sub-par product. I did the same. But thanks to all the wonderful people on this forum I have realized my mistake and will not be detoured from my quest of a healthier lifestyle. Spend the cash for a good product. Or at least don't act surprised and mad when your Volkswagon doesn't live up to Porche standards of performance.

HEY! I have a VW 1978 bus and she might have her quirks but I'll take her over a porche any day :)

Wow Lacey.....does it have flowers painted all over it????

No... we are getting ready to paint it black and white. I made nifty little curtains with jolly rogers! Our bumper stickers read "Metallica" "Korn" and of course "Pink Floyd". We are the new generation of hippees... :) No flowers for us.

No Lacy,
Don't remember the song he wrote after joining forces with the veggie coalition?

"All we are saying...
is give peas a chance..."

Ha Ha! I get it... Took me a minute... See... I was born in 77... you will have to excuse me as I only experienced the Beatles (and their falling) through old mags and then tapes/cd's. Oh wait... Dad did have an 8 track in an old caddy and he had the Mama's and the Papa's and The Beatles Yellow Submarine. I *barely* remember records. I know... I was born way too late to be driving a bus. ;) I make jokes that I peaked when my mom was in her teens.

My two cents as a fairly new e-smoker is my first uneducatued device was a smokeeverywhere from a mail kiosk no longer there oh well there. then i got a Penstyke and mini fogger from janty which at the time was great. penstyle drips well fogger carts well atomisers ast me puffing away about 3 weeks with blowing it out every night and letting it dry out some for 12 hours after blowing it out. then i tried to treat it like a smoke take in more and they died so much faster. ordered the dura which arrived DOA and now nothing intrested in it so i am working or finding a SD from trogg or the yeti from alt smoke and when pillbox starts sell pur nic to mix my own i think i will do that

Penstyle atomizers seem to hate me. I buy a new one, love the hell out of it, then one day I wake up and nothing. I change the cartridge, the light goes on, but no vapor, no crackling, nothing. Then I leave it sit for a few days and it works again for all of 8 hours. I've cleaned them out to boot and I am getting really frustrated since while I like to give Puresmoker money I am doing something wrong to have to buy a new one every 2 weeks or less. I don't even drip or anything, I stick to the carts, try not to overfill, and this is ridiculous.

And since PS is currently out of stock I was gonna grab another V9 battery to use up all these carts I have lying around but I really don't have $50 to blow right now for a temp fix.

There is some massive user error on my part and I have no idea what it is.

Maybe you should try dripping. Maybe your burning them out from being too dry.

Lu

But with dripping it's easier to get too dry without noticing than it is with a cart imho.

Penstyle atomisers are wonderful while they work but my experience of them is that they really don't last. :(
