Thing I have noticed I do that really don't help things in vaping.

Pushing the fire button harder to get more (fill in the blank) out of the puff. LOL
Wasting to much time trying to clean or revive and atty head/carto. All manner of soaking and flushing and runs through a sonic cleaner. Excessive dry burns! NLOL
Trying all kinds of ways to revive a dead/sick battery. Try charging it again, different charger putting it in the fridge. LOL
Putting my PV/APV on its side, standing it up and tilting it different. LOL
In DIY if a flavor taste bad put more in it next time. Adding sweetener adding another flavor to it. NLOL
Fidgeting with it when it leaks. LOL
I'm sure there others I have not yet noticed.
Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this kind of stuff. LOL

Changing my batteries out daily... I have 4 systems and only 1 needs a daily change (Vamo).. the rest normally have plenty of power in them ... and I know this because I only changes the wife's 4 systems every 3 days (1Vamo, and eVic and 2 ego-t upgrades....)

I have this habit of holding my e-cig up to my ear and firing the button, like rolling a cigar between your fingers to listen to the tobacco. Back when I first started it was due to cartos and drip attys, listening to the crackle told me how close to dry it was. However, I've been using a tank system now for... something like a year. I still can't get out of that silly habit though!
