Shame you're so far away - son is a roofer. He works many days where there's a brief period of rain and then it's good - he checks the weather radar when it starts to see how big the system is and then decides to wait it out or not. And there's no such thing as it's too hot or too cold (snow is another matter). He just said yesterday that once it hits 90 - anything above that you really don't feel more intensely. The heat while on the roof is oppressive whether is 92 or 100.

We are trying to support our local workers also but at this point I will hire anyone with a hammer and ladder to get this damn roof on! We have tarps on it to stop the leaking on all our new interior. We've tried all summer to get this done. I don't understand how people will beg for work then not show up! It's beyond me.

Beebop you should be proud, you taught him wonderful work ethics!
It is hot, hard, good honest work!

I bet you guys didn't know I studied Knife throwing..it didn't take long to figure out that sharp things and Mary don't play well together..but dispite the stiches..I was good!
