Oh no they can't cook unless it's to microwave! The mess is worse than the food............I don't mind fixing dinner but I'd like to be able to breath a little first.

Well so far, I agree with them all.
Here's some I didn't see.
1. Recordings on the other end of the phone. And it's getting worse because it takes ten minutes just to get through the options.
2. People who think you are just the greatest thing since apple pie until you have a viewpoint that differs from theirs. Then it's poof and you're lucky to get the time of day from them.

Amen! My phone, I don't wait on the line for any recording - you pay my bill you get to annoy me - otherwise - you're gone- and if you keep at it- I'll add your number to the blocked call list.
When a "friend" asks your opinion and you don't just tell them what they want to hear? All of a sudden the reception is "cool" - I hear ya jj! You don't want to know- don't ask!

When I was able to work, I always did everything I could for the customer. My pet peeve is: "Well that's not my job." They could do whatever it was, but refused to because of those 5 words. Well get me someone that can do this job!
You have my agreement on that one , I worked with the public for many years, and yes they are a PITA sometimes, but I treated them with respect and never said that is not MY job.
The only time the customers were wrong is when I was in the bar business and there is a reason for that...lol
I was also worked with the public..nope they were hardly ever right..but what are you gonna do!
When I had a video store a lady wanted to rent a movie and I said "sure, as soon as you bring back the week late video." She got mad and said she lent it to a DOCTOR, get it back from him! What a Stupid woman!
No she didn't get a movie and I gave her a bill for the movie..she signed the contract not the unknown Doctor. LOL

What ticked me off the most is when they brought the movie/game/whatever back late and argued/got mad about paying the late fee.
Good thing I don't work in one right now, or at least today, because I'm not in a patient mood.8-o

When I owned my store it was pre-computer. I did't even bother with a cash register! So all the tickets for rental were hand written and they signed them. The due date and a printed rental rate along with late charges were on the back. No auguments..they signed it and agreed to my rules..and you guys know me and rulez!
In 5 years I lost 1 tape..It was due when I closed my store and I just let it go.."Alice in Wonderland".
Even the then owner of the Bucs didn't argue, he just paid.
I am glad I don't have to deal with the public anymore..my temper gets the best of me now!

When people look right at you while driving and cut you off. It's bad enough people that aren't paying attention cut me off, but now I'm going to get a bunch of people (it's been happening all week) that look right at me (knowing that they are going to cut me off) and do it anyway.
Even more...last week I got a ticket because some idiot decided to cut me off and instead of rear ending him...i moved over onto the onramp and don't you know...look up in the rearview...state cop. GRRRRRR

I have a pet peeve that just happened again to me. I live in an apartment complex. I am walking down the sidewalk (inside the complex) with my dogs. A group of teenagers are totally blocking the sidewalk. They see me coming - there is no way around them - they do not move. UGH!!!!! When I ask them to move over they say "whatever". UGH.
Will..think you could train one of the dogs to pee on them?
Stupid bureaucrats! We get a letter today from Mom's Federal Employee Union that said they need my sister's address to mail her a check. It seems they owed my sister Money from mom's account (insurance premium from a while back) We called to tell them my sister died 24 years ago and Mom has been gone for over a year. They now need us to send them all this info. Good grief! How many Governments do we have in this country..this is the 5th time we have sent stuff to the credit union, tax people, Government insurance, SS and whatever!
