Things the HH-357 have made me realize.

Then on day 7, I decided to clean it but took one last vape before I did and it died. I sent it in and was told it was the carbon build up on the coil (even got a confirmation picture)...and had to do with the juices I vape (all VG tobacco flavors). I was told I could have it rebuilt for $10 plus the shipping and I declined.

Ditto on the experience, except my 1.5 lasted one day and there was no $10+ rebuild charge offered. I was using Bounty Hunter (65PG/35VG) at 3.7v. I wonder if we all got the same carbon build-up picture. The other 1.5 I bought with it is still going strong at 2 months using only Boba's (100%VG) at 3.7v. I'm not giving up on them yet, because it is a great vape. But I sure have a tough time with dishing out $22+ for just one day and it wasn't even broke in yet.

i just sent 3 in to hanna for a rebuild. 1 i know i popped and the other 2 i wasnt sure what happened. he is very easy to work with and a really nice guy. i did want him to have a look at them though regardless because if the other 2 were my fault he could let me know what happened and how to correct it and if not then it gives him an idea on how to improve the 357.

No! I didn't have his email address at the time. So, I sent it to AV and AV only responded.

My money went to AV. So, the way I see it, AV is representing Hanna. If AV is making decisions that Hanna thinks he should be making, then that is between them. If AV is making decisions that I think Hanna should be making, there is little if anything I can do except take my business elsewhere, which I'm not ready to do yet.

No, I didn't. In retrospect, I probably should have. However, AV's email response inferred the matter was closed.

I was thinking about how some say HH.357's are not for beginners because they are finicky. I agree wholeheartedly. Finicky is a good word to describe it, but my idea of finicky may be different than yours.

My definition for the HH.357:
The tolerance between a dry draw and a flooded draw is small compared to some other atty's.

I'm not very sensitive to flavor loss because I normally think it's time to change the batt if that happens, which means I get dry draws (yuk) often. I'm not good at blind squonking either, I have to rely on eyesight, which is normally not good in dark places without my reading glasses, so I over squonk and flood it, which means I get gurgling and juice in mouth often. the gurgling seems to last a long time too.

There are many other atty's that have a greater tolerance between dry and flooded, but I choose to live with the finicky HH.357 for the great flavor it delivers. Life is full of trade-offs and that's why there will probably never be a perfect atty, so we adapt, but no doubt, they will keep improving and I'll keep buying the pie in the sky.

BTW, I saw some pictures of the HH357 Atty w/ gunk build up- there was suspicion that the pictures were stock pictures sent to everyone- this is not so- mine was a completely different photo- of down the long barrel. That's good! I will try the V2 when he comes out w/ it. In the meantime, I have a supersonic cleaner and am trying to clean some attys w/ it now (came today) and hoping it will make a difference to knock off any build-up before it becomes a killer.

I purchased 2 HH.357's and didn't have any luck with either one. The first one I used about 9 hours and the second one I got about 27 hours out of. I cleaned them the way I clean all of my other atty's, dried them out only to find that they were completely dead. I checked them with my digital multimeter and got a reading of 65.18 and 62.39 which I'm guessing was telling me a short somewhere or a dying battery in my meter. I tested other Cisco, Bauway and IKV atty's that were 1.5 ohm and tested at 1.5 + or - 1 so my meter was good.

But I don't think I will buy anymore, the Cisco bridgless 306 and 510 are 90% as good as the HH-357 but only cost 9 bucks.

I posted this in the lounge thread but while waiting for Avid site to reopen I got impatient and saw these at VaporFlow Atomizers. Deciding to try them I attempted to register on the site and when entering my email addy (as all registration need) it gave me an error saying it had already had it which made no sense since I never visited the site before. So I went directly to the logon and realized it looked like the same as Avid's so entered my email addy and my Avid password BINGO! Anyway with the prices being the same as Cisco's I ordered a couple and I'll report how well they are here.

I guess they are trying to up their website traffic by having two websites. It appears that vaporflow is more targeted to the new ecig user (egos and slim ecigs) as they have no tab for mods/batts etc. I wonder if your atomizer will have "cisco 1.5 Ω" laser etched on the positive connection.

Not knowing how you clean your other attys... You're not supposed to dry burn and you're not supposed to blow through the open end, just the connector end. The cleaning instructions for the hh.357 are to soak in alcohol (like a high proof vodka) for an hour, and blow out from the connector end. That's it.

I've been using the same four HH357's for many many months now with a variety of Mrs. T's juices (all of them are sweet.) My mini sees almost exclusively strawberry lemonade on a 2.0ohm long barrel, and my grand goes through all kinds of juices on a 3.0ohm short barrel w/ universal adapter @ 6v -- snozberry wallpaper being my favorite, but also a number of coffee/toffee/peanut butter type flavors.

I have had issues with the long barrels coming apart in my pocket at the bottom (too much stress on the joint between the battery contact and the terminal; the glue will give way), but I just snap them back together and try to be more careful. I have gone through hundreds of milliliters with these attys and have yet to lose even a single one to normal wear and tear/coil failure.

I have a bunch of Cisco 306's that I occasionally put on for variety or if the 357's are soaking in alcohol, but I always have the same reaction... "hmmm, seems to vape well, but where's that PUNCH that I'm used to?" I can't even finger exactly what the difference is because the 306's still have good vapor production, but they just don't concentrate vapor into extremely satisfying hits the same way as the HH357.

That is strange Tim. Even the invoice is the same. Tell me this doesn't look familiar....

The upside they are probably/hopefully the same attys and a source when Cisco's site is either down or out of stock on their regular attys. The downside is I don't get my Cisco discount for frequent buyer.

if you dab a little gorilla glue on the connector, and i mean a miniscule amount, with a toothpick and shove it back together and let it sit for a day it corrects this problem. It happened all the time with my 1.5 Ω shorty and it corrected the problem. My 3 Ω hasn't been soaked as much, and it still hasn't gave way, and I've had it since January.

I got a USB ego 650 mah PassThru from VaporFLow a long long time ago, and it is still cranking my LR's....

So the question i have is: for the folks who get long times out of their HH357, do you get long times as well from your other atomizers?
I'll bet the answer is yes... just because I never get more than a month out of a good atomizer (one that i like and use every day).

Uke,,, I dont, get as long a life from other Atty's as I have from my 357's,,,, dont know what it is but I suspect it is Ciscos coils pared with keeping them more wet with the 357 holding more juice in it with the mesh that contributes to them lasting longer for me. I also think one of the biggest things is peoples vaping habits which leads to longer and shorter lives of there Atty's pared with what Mod there using them on, I think bottom feeders keeping Attys more wet also helps,, these are just my own personal findings and thoughts, I'm sure other will disagree but for me these Atty's and Cisco's coils are super how there specked out compared to others out there.
