I have a ProVari and a ProVari mini. I got an AGA t2 and rba's are a bit harder to deal with on a regulated device. So, I think its time to buy a mechanical mod. I was thinking about a Silver Bullet, but with a kick sleeve and a kick, it becomes a bit expensive to try something. However, it's US made, which I prefer. So, under $100 , suggestions, and why please. Thanks :)

ETA: I need to be able to add a Kick, and battery size (18650, 18500, 18350) doesn't matter. I have plenty of all 3 size batteries.

I just got one in a kit with a charger at Atlanta Vape-A-Palooza. Heavy and real sturdy. I've got a IGO-L on it. Blowing clouds. I love it.

I just picked up a kamry K100 from fastech for 23

Pbasuardo did a review and said he really liked it and "it was worth the 50 he spent on it" haha if he says its worth 50 then its deff worth every penny of 23! Haha :)

I am still waiting for it so I cant comment on it myself

I vote for K100 as well, works great, can be kicked (even the china knockoff kick works great in it), and it's dirt cheap. FastTech is where I got mine, they just added a bunch of new colors.

Oh btw whats the name of the china knock off kick? Haha I didnt know they made one and 45 bucks for the real one is a little steep imo

It was announced they'd be getting them in (they had a projected arrival date), then refreshed the page 10+ times a day till it actually showed up. When I finally saw them available, they only had 15 left. I ordered 3 to make sure I had some spares (at $15 is was too good not to stock up ><). I posted a message here after my order was confirmed :p and the last 12 were gone within an hour or so.

Sigelei-K Kick Clone

edit: as far as the K100, I've been playing around with sanding mine

That really doesn't make any sense -

A good starter mech would be the KTS or the K100 from FT.. Both are decent. I have both and think the KTS vapes a bit better but the switch is a PITA.. It sometimes comes apart and you have to fiddle with small parts to get it back together. You won't have that problem with the K100.

If you want to spend a little time modding your KTS you can get a really good vape with it. It's good without being modded but if you sand down the contact points it'll conduct alot better which will in turn make it vape better.. Sanding down the connections to expose the brass will help conductivity.

I've been considering an inexpensive venture into mechanical mods as well. Think I'm going with smoktechs natural. Anyone recommend the original or the telescoping version? I see the telescoping one is a tad thinner and attys can hang off a bit. Exhale has them for under $40 right now though. Original can be found for $54 plus at several places.

Local vape store had the original one for $50, but I wasn't sure on the price so I didn't buy it. It looks like I can go cheaper if I just want to build coils on it.

Ditto. Adding a kick basically regulates your mech. Go fully mech with a sub-ohm coil and enjoy.

As I said in another reply, building coils, no kick. For vaping, I want the kick. I do not do sub ohm, just not my thing. I want to build the coil on it then move it to my ProVari, so its going to 1.5Ω - 2Ω when I am done.

Ah, ok. So you want to use the mech as a tool for pulse oxidizing and working out shorts/hotspots. Makes sense. The kick and sigelei-k can only go as high as 10 watts, but the Provari can do 15, so something to keep in mind if you want to venture into that territory.

If this is what you want to do, I'd pick up the cheapest one you can find. The KTS on fasttech fits the bill perfectly and is actually pretty good. I paid $23 for mine, and they are a few bucks cheaper now. You would just have to get the extension elsewhere if you want to use the kick with a 18650 battery. Shorter batteries don't need the extender as far as I know. For a few bucks more you can find good mechs at exhalevapors and vaportekusa.
