I have been using Vaporesso for several years. I began with the SWAG 80W, which I liked because of the dimensions but then I upgraded to a GEN S 220W which I liked more because with two 18650 batteries it runs for one or two days without need for replacing the batteries. When I decided to buy the GEN S the main reason was choosing it instead of going with something different, was that I had a ton of Vaporesso GT coils to use and that I did not want to through away.
What I do not like of the GEN S is that from time to time I have liquid leaking out of the lower vents and it makes a mess. It does not happen often but it happens.
tank size is OK, but I would not mind going with something larger.

I am close to run out of GT coils. So, maybe it's a good time to look for something else and I wanted to ask here if there is something else that I should look at.
Things that are most important to me are:

- Reliability. I would prefer going with a well known brand with proven quality. I had to replace my Vaporesso's few times because they started failing.
-No leaks in normal use conditions.
- Battery size/capacity, as I said I like the GEN S because of the two 18650 batteries so I would prefer something that can run as long as the GEN S or longer before having to change batteries (*).
- Tank capacity, Bigger is better.
- Easy to clean, easy to maintain.
- Nothing that I would have to customize. I don't make my own coils and I am not going to star making them.

Can you guys help me in selecting a new kit? Box, tank, coils. I am not up to speed with what is available out there.

I don't think I need something extreme, I vape only unflavored or flavored with menthol (6 mg). Usually in the 52-54W range.
I do not need to stay with the 18650 batteries, they are getting old and I have to start replacing them in any case.

(*) I may consider buying two devices, one bigger for everyday use, and one smaller for when I want something smaller with me, but my preference would be for devices that can use the same coils so I do not need to stock two different types, My priority in any case, currently is the bigger one.

You might be interested in the Vaporesso Swag PX80. It's a pod mod and you can buy a 510 adapter and use any RTA/RBA on it.

My newest for 2020 and on rigs are:

Vaporesso Luxe XR (a pod system that uses nicotine salts) and GeekVape L200(a box mod that uses 18650s). These are great mods and I use both at the same time.

The pod system isn't very flavorful compared to the box mod, but maybe it's the nicotine salt eliquids that I'm using. The pods are new to me, but I figured that I better catch the new wave and get used to the devices.

The box mod is fantastic. Might be the first truly waterproof mod that lives up to being engineered for vaping and does not die when eliquids get on it. I'm using an old Twisted Messes dripper/atomizer on top, but you can also buy the GeekVape Drop RDA v2 and use that.

Thank you all for your suggestions.
The L200 seems to be very interesting for being able to accept larger batteries, and it has excellent reviews. However it comes with a 6ml tank and I think it smaller than what I need.

I am not into pods yet, I do not even know what they are and what advantages they offer.

I ended up with Vaporoso again....
I ordered a Target 2000. I like the 8ml tank, and it seems they have addressed the issues with the leaks and the noise.

    Thanks again.

Ahhhh.... I don't use tanks because I vape from 4 to 5 different juices. I used to use tanks but then I was switching tanks and using multiple box mods to keep up with the different eliquids.

No biggie. Everyone has a different approach.

I have only been using pods for a short time. I got into them to see what all the hullabaloo was about. I was afraid that they were going to stop making box mods and wanted to be ahead of the curve. So far so good.

In 2023, I am going to try and buy another 10 - L200 box mods so that I do not run out any time soon. Many box mods are rated for dust and liquids but eliquids kill them off pretty fast. I try to be meticulous and try not to overfill the dripper/RDA. I also try to keep the box mod level when I vape so that eliquid does not leak out and onto the box mod.

    Have fun!

Nothing wrong with your choice.......... I have vaped a long time and have never tried a pod mod either. However, I am thinking about trying one out one of these days as some of the coil heads are good in some of them..... When it comes to mods a persons choice is about simple preference..... Most external battery mods function as intended for a long time. I have inexpensive mods that are many years old and still functioning like the day they were new........ Some people select a mod based on it's power output or if it is a single battery mod or a dual or triple battery mod. Some people will select a mod that is shock proof and water proof..... Some people will select a mod because of simply the way the screen looks (if it has a screen)......There are all types of reasons why people select a certain vape mod.... Most modern regulated mods will last forever if care is taken with them.

I have to ask, sorry: what do you use instead of tanks?

I use what is called an RDA, often called a dripper or atomizer. If you go on websites and look for RDA that is what you need. You buy bottles of eliquids and they have a dripper in them, built into the top cap. Then you simply drip 4 to 6 drops into the RDA and vape.

This way you can buy and use multiple flavors at once.

I recommend the GeekVape DigiFlavor Drop RDA v2. It is new and looks pretty good, I have 2 so far and will buy more to have backup components. You can buy premade coils from GeekVape too. I use just one coil in the RDA.

RDAs last a long time. I use what is known as a "Twisted Messes RDA" and I have a lot of them along with spare parts. Twisted Messes is no longer in business. I have been using this RDA for more than 3 years, changing the coils and cotton as I go.

That is why I recommended the GeekVape Drop RDA v2. It was just released and it looks fine.

The only parts to wear out on an RDA are the screws and the posts where the screws go into the RDA fixture.

If you decide to go with an RDA, you will need the RDA, coils and cotton.

I bought one box of cotton online and haven't put a dent in it. Change the cotton every week or two and you're set.

I mostly use RDAs as it's hard to beat the flavor coming off of a well designed RDA........ I use sub ohm tanks rarely as I hate purchasing coil heads....... The drop is OK but there is also some other very good RDAs that have both bottom and side airflow for improved flavor. VaperZ Cloud makes several of them. The Nitrous by Damn vape is another flavorful little RDA. There are several good ones on the market.

The Target 100 seems interesting if you want to stay with Vaporesso @Nuvola, as it's a single 21700 mod.

Bigger battery/cell = longer runtime and possibly a better CDR.

As for tanks, Horizontech (falcon range) and Freemax (mesh pro and fireluke ranges) come to mind.

Best to consider what coils you can source easier.

    Thank you all.
I ordered the Vaporoso Target 200. It took twenty days to arrive, and I have been testing it for few days. So far so good. I like the dimensions. I don't like the position of the fire button. I will get used to it.
Oh my bad you already ordered great choice tho vaporesso is really good to

Curious what tanks or rebuildables do you use?
