I have my Ego-T with stardust set-up. (Will probably add a VV soon). But I'm thinking about those times where I'm in public and need to take a vape-- in the car, outdoors, etc. I'm kinda a private person, and I don't want to cause any problems, so I like to remain as inconspicuous as possible. But, and I hate to say it, to the uninitiated, a good vaping systems look some sort of illegal drug paraphernalia. It's like a combination of a syringe and a .....

So, I'm thinking of keeping my Ego at home and taking some 808d sized one out in public. Actually, I was thinking of getting a 501 kit because it's compatible with a lot of accesories from the ego. Does anyone else do this? Any disadvantages to doing so?

I vape my eGo Twist everywhere I go. In my car, at work, at the zoo, at the mall, at the movies, etc. The way I see it, it is important to get vaping into the mainstream without shoving it down people's throats. The more we normalize vaping, the better the odds are it will not be banished to the nether void.

I am never rude about vaping but I do it when I feel it appropriate. If I am in a situation where smoking would be OK then I vape. I take those times when people look at me funny to educate people on what I am doing and why. I never preach but always inform when people ask.

The courage will come. At first, I was afraid to vape in my car due to what the setup could be seen as. I quickly got over that when I was stuck in traffic and needed some nic. I have even been looked over by cops at stop lights and one even asked if my PV had helped me totally stop cigs. Not everyone is ignorant to what a PV is, including law enforcement.

You have to do what you are comfortable with. If remaining on the down low is your thing, then by all means do it. As long as you beat the stinkies.

There's nothing wrong with using that type of ecig. A good friends brother has quit smoking for 7 months using those. Some people want to be low profile more than wanting to draw attention to themselves. There are no rules really. Spreading the love must be done but taking care of our health is #1. Whatever peels your banana.

+1. My mom uses a cig-alike for out and about, and a larger battery at home because the cig-alikes run out of power too fast.

I'm the reverse, I take my Volt X2 and Vision Spinner out and about, and use the cig-alikes at home when I'm on the computer (my habit is to clamp it between my teeth and chain-vape like I chain-smoked).

We both like our habits the way they are, and they work for us. Personally, I'd like to find a semi-cig-alike battery with about 400-500 mAh that I can still hold in my teeth (the X2 900 makes my jaw ache). I haven't found one yet.

First hand experience. I work for a PD. I was out of uniform and went to the main office to turn in time sheets. Had my 1000mah twist with a vivi nova on it. When I walked in I tucked it inside my underarmour t-shirt. First thing the major ask was what the hell is that. I sliped it out of my shirt and told him and all the rest it was my pv. Explained it all and then was told it was still against the policy. When I told them the policy number they just looked at me. When I told them the doctors opinion they went quiet and left me alone. Then only thing said was just keep it tucked in your shirt cause it looks like a ..... I then informed them that they didn't have a clue what a .... looked like cause I use to own 5 of them. LOL.
Guess I'm trying to say that I really don't care what others say. I know that I'm doing the right thing for my own health and theirs.

I have some skinny little 510's for those times - but I just hate the battery life of the little 510's and having to worrying about recharching. I use kgos in public now or provape1. I figure it this way - as bad as cigarettes smell, who cares what my PV looks like? At least I am not choking the life out of everyone around me.

I vape way to much for the smaller batteries. Truth is I carry every day to work. Embaressed now. 2 eGo twist, 2 kGo, 1 Vmax, at least 10 different juices,(never know what I'll want for lunch.lol). It's all in a metal diabetic box that just fits fine in my backpack along with my laptop and breathing equipment. Yea I carry a lot but ...............well I'm just wired that way.

Yes, you can use a lot of eGo stuff on a 510. This combo actually works:

Not sure if I want to be seen with it though.
