Thinking about Provari Mini

I'm liking the blue LED..the only reason to get red at night for me to see it better is if I've had maybe a few too many cocktails...on second thought, maybe I need red. LOLOL

The main draw for me regarding the LED is it's 1080p display.
My batteries were already charged so all I had to do was pop one in and all I could think was DAMN the screen is stunning.
How many other PV screens come in HD?

I agree. It's nice that Provape gives us options. I find it amusing that we even have these conversations about the color of the LED screen. Do the owners of other mods have this discussion?

(Most likely not. I don't know of any other mod that gives you the option to choose the LED display color.)

What I found shocking is after using the Provari for a while, how tiny the display looks on my Vamo V3, and Kamry K200!

I'd feel conflicted getting a black 'vari with a blue or green LED. Rat farts...this means I'm gonna have to (eventually) get 2 'varis

I'm predicting a purple LED isn't far off. If anyone recalls, I was not only correct about green, I was right about the shade of green. I just didn't think of a zombie, mine was a lizard.

I ordered another satin silver mini yesterday - that's 2 identical ones bought in 2 weeks. I bought my first ProVari, a V2 in satin silver with an extension, 3 weeks ago. All with the red LED & not a single beast among them. The width is identical, if not smaller, then my 18650 mod. To say I'm pleased with the performance & simplicity of the Pro is an understatement. I'm also quite shocked at how long a 18350 or the 18490 last considering the Pro is a permanent fixture on my face. A very happy camper here!

Purple would be nice. My car's radio allows me to change the color of its display, and I set mine to a purple color as my favorite.

I just wanted to comment on the polished mini, provari has said that the polished is not a limited edition, and will be stocked regularly, after the last batch of mini's sold out they had "date to be determined" up on the site. I think they took it down because they got flooded with e-mails, it takes a lot of work to hand polish each one. Here is mine.

WOW! That's hot! Does it scratch easy or get pretty smudged up w/finger prints. I'm sure the finger prints is an issue, but what about scratches and so forth in on the finish?

I have it in a leather sleeve from serenity gear another bling item, so I have not scratched it yet, but I am carefull with it also, let me see if I can find a pic.

You could always get a clear jwrap for it. That's what I will do when I get my polished ss mini.

Scratches and fingerprints are exactly why I don't buy any polished mods. I'd end up having to wrap them, which kind of defeats the purpose.

How often do you take it out? I keep mine in their Serenity sleeves except when I'm changing batteries, so I would matter what finish they had.

I take them out to show them off, or to look at myself in the reflection.
Of course when I need to change batteries etc. provari has stated that they scratch, a bit easier, but they can be polished back up easily.
I have only had them for a few weeks, so time will tell how the finish holds up.
