Thinking about Provari Mini

I'm very happy w/my current set up (Triton VV), its worked great, no issues, love the color/size, but I'm frustrated that I can't try other tanks, use a dripping atty or test out the diff between top/bottom coils.

I'm thinking of buying a new set up, was really thinking about the Innokin VV V3, but I feel like maybe its a tiny step up from what I have and is it worth it. Did more searching and thought about the big mods, which made me a little nervous. Plus. They look so dang BIG and heavy. I don't mind the long mods just not real keen on them being so big around. (Wow, good thing we are all talking about PVs on here...these adjectives sound a little....dirty...)

So, in my search, I was thinking, isn't there a step before the big monsters and came across the Provari mini V2.5. Kinda surprised it doesn't have VW tho and read it doesn't play well w/Aspire tanks (which is the one I really wanted to try:mad:) but it did catch my attention!

My current PV is 4 3/16" long (106mm) and I love the size. I know the Provari mini is shorter but has an extender piece...how long with that added? And it is a 510 thread, correct? Not sure if this means just 510 or 510/ego..remember I've only basically been able to use a Kanger T2 and T4 w/my set up so tanks are a brand new world to me.

Lastly, can anyone just tell me their thoughts and if you moved up from like an ego twist to this, was it a huge diff? Thx

I started same as you with G6 to Triton in a week or so and now straight to the Provari mini. Get some 5ml hypertanks. They are beautiful and pyrex. I will still use my Triton for work and such. After the new year I am spying, wait for it.......more provari. Don't forget some dripping atomizers drip tips. Wooooo hoooooo!!!

Wow, I'm a chicken..taken me almost three months to put my big girl pants on! YES dripping is on the top of my list! I have wasted (ok, not wasted but fill, empty, clean) so many tanks trying flavors. It's a pain in the ...!

Dripping, specifically for juices known for long steep times, is perfect for quick sample tastes. I tried to take the poly fill out of a Halo cartridge to drip...bad move..it leaked all over my batt

But a 5 ml tank is so huge! I switch 4-6 flavors a day thanks to getting vapors tongue...TWICE... So it would take me forever to go thru one flavor of 5 ml. But ur right, the tanks look too good to pass up

The Hypertank? I ordered one too. The only juice I like that much is in my bottom-feeder, so this purchase is likely form over function.

Have you actually tried dripping yet, I can't tell from your post. Trying to drip in a Halp cartridge doesn't count.

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Scratches and fingerprints are exactly why I don't buy any polished mods. I'd end up having to wrap them, which kind of defeats the purpose.
I planned to wrap my ProVari in the first place which is why I got the regular silver one...lol

I figured it would be versatile and I could change the look as often as I like. :D

I'm not even sure if the Hypertank is top or bcc yet..I'm def getting it for looks! LOL actually I've never tried a bcc yet. But my gut is telling me I'm going to prefer top because I love a warm vape.

LOL and I know it doesn't count when all the juice dripped on my batt! I actually have ur blog bookmarked!!!!! The BEST explain about dripping I have found!!! I am very excited to try it and I will start looking for the proper gear..I just know I want one of those long drip tips when trying it.

What the heck is wrong with me?? I know what this stuff looks like because it always catches my attention but not any of the names!

That's why my second one was also a satin silver. I like the neutrality. The only other color I considered was black, but when I change the wraps I make there is often adhesive residue left behind. It doesn't hurt the finish at all, but I figured it would show up more on black and I didn't want to spend the evening cleaning out teardrops. To be clear, these are the wraps I make, the ones you buy from vendors shouldn't leave a residue.

It a BCC. It takes Protank/EVOD heads.

ETA: Shopping for vaping gear is a never ending search. I ordered from 5 different vendors this morning, since no one had everything I wanted. I still want one more thing and I hope the sale price is still good when they get them in stock.

What kind of long drip tip? I think I have been to every drip tip site online in the last couple of weeks.

Looks like you fell for the fanboy hype again. Doesn't the ProVari make you cool enough? ;)

You'll love your Reo! What did you get?

I got a white grand. Kept checking the site and always OOS so I called on the phone.
I got the best of both worlds. I'm too cool for my own good! :D

I'll be making my own, too, if my supplies ever get here. It's taking forever.

Completely off-topic but related to stuff ordered online, RTD DID finally confirm the order we were discussing today.

If you're up for spending a tad more money, these attys are interesting. They are designed for bottom-feeders. I usually use 306s, but I'm started to like these quite a bit.

AMG Hybrid Bottom Feeder (2-pack)

Ok hold up...when u say it takes a ProTank/EVod heads...r u saying I can't try an Aspire BDC or IClear 30 on the ProVari? I'm still green on these dang tanks thanks to Halo triton..lol, maybe that was a good thing because I'm getting myself all mixed up.

And for dripping...I like these long tips, but mayb they're not for dripping! LMAO! Damn I feel like a total noob all over again!

You can use those tanks on the ProVari, what I meant is the Hypertank takes the same replaceable coil heads as Protanks, EVODs, Davide and Lord knows how many other of these BCC are on the market now.

ETA: I don't recommend that drip tip for dripping unless you plan on uses a 510 and removing the tip when you drip. If you dripped through it, the liquid would have to go all the way down the tube to get to the atty and most likely you would get a mouth full of juice and a dry hit at the same time.

OH! Lmao..DUH. I've been up since 4:30 am, my brain is getting to be mush. And I forgot Davide..another tank I want to try. There's a ton like u said. Which is good and bad I suppose. I will be hunting down glass, top coils tho I don't think there's as many.

At this point when dripping with the ProVari you shouldn't use low-res. You may someday, but going a bit higher gives you more room to play with. These are very popular with my direct dripping friends (the prices are good too):

510 Atomizers | DigitalCiggz.com

As pictured in my blog, you can remove the drip tip, drip in the liquid, and then replace the drip tip to vape or you can get a tip to drip through. Unfortunately, Digital Ciggz is OOS for useful dripping type tips. You can basically pick them up from most vendors, including some juice vendors, what you're looking for is a short-ish tip with a wide opening. Like this:

You can use prettier ones and the opening doesn't have to be this wide, I just wanted you to see it.

sg-delrin-510-drip-tip_wm.jpg

With 510 attys, I take the tip out to drip, I drip through the tip with the 306s.

I'm the hunting Princess. Tell what you want and let me find you a price - with as few vendors as possible.

ETA: You are correct that there aren't as many top coils. Since the Protank sold so well, glass BCC are hitting the market like mad, almost all of which are designed to use Protank/EVOD heads.

Glass top coils? Just like R-O-U-S'es, I don't think those exist. The Innokin iClear 30 is the first thing that comes to mind, but I don't know if it's glass.

Smoktech make a glass Vivi Nova - I'll have to think of other ones. The main problem is the ones that come to mind have eGo threading. Personally, I don't like the look of an adaptor on a ProVari.

ETA: Vision make the V-Fate Nova - it's metal & pyrex

You don't have to have all glass. I tend to because of the juices I like, but if you're experimenting other materials would be fine.
