It's ok, the furnace guy just left....although the other repair guy didn't think the flow valve was my issue, this one says it is indeed. I will be getting my cardio in several daily doses again running up and down the cellar steps until I can fix it. It's all good. At least I know I'll have some sort of control over the blasted thing.
I'm still smiling!!!! Bov's news is most excellent!!!
I was having problems with my DSL going out and called Fairpoint a couple weeks ago. The guy had me do this and that on one of their websites and then told me I'd have no more problems. Lost connection 2 minutes after I hung up and was way too ...... to call back. Didn't have any big trouble til yesterday morning when it was going out every 5 minutes. A very unhappy me called again. Repair guy was her first thing this morning. He was very thorough. Checked the outside box and put a filter there. Checked up on the pole and down the road in the big box he removed something they had in there that blocks DSL. Now we'll see. So far so good but it's early yet.
Hahaaa! Buaahahaaa John!!! You KNOW I saved that pic
Thank you Wharf! It ain't always clean, but I try to sweep it when I see some doo doo left behind
Ugh Fran, I feel for you too. Every time someone on our block has something done with their cable, Cox has to come out and tweak the filters on our pole and box.
Good deal, Fran! I drive them crazy following them around and making them explain step by step what they are doing! That way the are not as likely to be lazy
Here's a study that was done on the Today Show about the worst and best states for swearing. I guess now you see why I'm such a nice never swearing person. Now if I can just get the lying down I got it made.
