Says who?

None other than tobacco Giant R. J. Reynolds about their upcoming Vuse cig-a-like. It's not an e-cig, It's not a PV.... It's a Digital Vapor Cigarette !!! And it's a game changing product.

One word comes to mind... Areyoukiddingme!!!

Listen Mister Big tobacco:

Unless your device contains a 1 000 000 mAh graphene battery, no kanthal, no silica, no mesh, no coil. You cannot call a cig-a-like, regulated or not, a game changing product!

Now!

Where's my Provari?

Oh!

There it is....

Found it.

It may well be a game changer in the cigalike category of e-cigs. I'm pretty sure they aren't trying to compete with mods, just BLU, NJOY and other disposables, or cigalikes. I tried an NJOY King the other day and was really impressed.
It seems a lot of people want juices that taste like their favorite cigarette. What if the tobacco companies who are starting to roll out e-cigs come out with flavors that taste exactly like the cigarettes they sell?

As far I as know from the few reviews I seen it's not the case.

I would be very worried about what is inside of a juice that tastes exactly like smoke.

Big Tobacco doesn't need us current vapors. Their target customers will be current smokers looking for an alternative to cigarettes, just as we were.

I don't care if they do take over the cigalike business. Just leave the rest of us vapors alone and don't try to influence the FDA to over-regulate e-liquids so that the tobacco industry can monopolize that.

Seeing screw-on cartos and a USB plug isn't screaming 'game-changer', no. I'm not gonna hate on them just because they're BT... but I will hate on them because they're calling that thing markedly different than any other cig-a-like.

Can it hold an impossible amount of juice? Did they discover new battery technology? Seeing how many of us rebuild coils and truly know and understand how a PV works, it's amazing they call this game-changing.

Do they really think being made in China and not here is really what's holding cig-a-likes back?

Do they not see that most serious vapers move to larger devices because something as small as a cig-a-like can't possibly hold the energy capacity and juice required to get through a day?

Do they not see that the very thing that makes a carto a carto (filler) is exactly what will always hold that kind of device back?

I really don't care that they're BT. I care that they seem to either 1) have no sense of the vaping community and what we look for in e-cigs, or 2) have no idea about what makes a good e-cig.

If they advertise how many puffs that thing gives, I'll cry.

They will most certainly say that it's x amount of pack of smokes. The beta version doesn't mention the % or mg of nic either

R.J. Reynolds Launches VUSE Electronic Cigarette | E-Cigarette Reviews and Rankings

The VUSE System will retail at around $30. VUSE cartridges will be sold in packs of two at an estimated price of $6. Just like the majority of electronic cigarette companies, R.J. Reynolds Vapor says one VUSE cartridge is the equivalent of a pack of analogs.

Et voila!

The vuse system! Don't you love how they word it?

Don't get me wrong... If it gets more people off of tobacco cigarettes, I'm all for it. But can't say that I'm thrilled about BT getting into vaping. NOBODY cares less about public health than big tobacco. So hearing them talk about game changing products kinda pisses me off.

I agree 100% With you on that if it gets more people off of tobacco cigarettes. Except I gave all I will ever give as far as money to BT. Only game changer I think is the rewording of the product it self.

This new technology apparently monitors and adjusts heat and power more than 2,000 times per second to deliver consistent puffs.

Take that ProVape!

I bet that the only consistent thing about it will be a consistent bad vape.

Sorry BT. That was uncalled for.... Won't do it again.

I bet if Phillip morris came out with a line of Marlboro e-liquids, a majority of people on these forums would try some.

Of course.

I'll try the Vuse as well. Always good to know what's on the mainstream market. Perfect to give to my friends and get them interested in vaping.
