I'm hoping it's as game changing as the "Premier" was. BT will put more money into stomping out competitors as it will on the actual product. And by competitors I mean the very thing we enjoy. Can't very well make any money off of something that I can so easily obtain a cheaper, better, more enjoyable version of. They can't succeed by just competing with Blu and other cigalikes. With BT it's always been all or nothing. They are massive corporations with fingers in all sorts of pies. They aren't going to settle for just the cigalike market. They will hook us and then remove all choice. We will all be back to Camels and Reds, we will just have to recharge them 17 times a day. I apologise for getting all preachy, but BT has always been "in it to win it" and they have shown time and time again that they will sink to the lowest levels to win.

I would fear ciga-likes from BT. We already have a good example of what they did with a bit of crushed tobacco in a paper with adding all sorts of chemicals, tar and other matter. Now they are going to produce something like their own analog product and make it digital to attract back those that have left for vaping. What will they add into their 'juice to make it taste like their analogs?

I tried nJoy's back before I discovered ego's etc and it was a failed attempt to switch - they lead me rigt back to smoking analogs but I never tried Blu or the others for that reason. nJoy definately had their problems - at least with the rechargable ones.

I bet if Phillip morris came out with a line of Marlboro e-liquids, a majority of people on these forums would try some.

Think so? I'd almost take that bet. I think cigarette companies underestimate how satisfied many vapers are. BT rode into popularity with radio and television from a time when brand loyalty was more important than it is now. We will have a better view of the big picture in a couple years. Once the market becomes saturated and the rise in e-cig popularity wears out, we'll see how good BT fares in the vaping world. It's easy for just about any company to make a cig-a-like and be successful selling it right now because a lot of people are still making the switch. There's plenty of new fish, and as long as everyone tries a cig-a-like at first it'll look successful. After that, companies will have to rely more on return customers than new ones, and BT's pithy attempt to get into the market will be punished.

Man, if I was a BT company, I'd do this right. Could you imagine what Joytech would become if it had the marketing $$$ of Blu on top? I'd market a PV that has a real chance of satisfying a smoker, sell it at a competitive price, advertise the beans out of it, and run circles around Blu and Vuse and... whatever the next company calls a cig-a-like. I'd get people past the cigarette/cig-a-like mentality by making commercials with people using eGo-sized batteries. I wouldn't dig my own hole by promising that a tiny battery with a bit of juice-soaked fluff is going to do what a pack of analogs can.

I personally would have no problem purchasing either a pv or juice from BT companies, as long as they were products worth buying. BT's aim with real cigarettes is to make a cigarette people will smoke. They try to make it stronger, and taste better. We as individuals all made the choice, knowing full well the risks, to begin smoking. You can't blame BT anymore than you can blame Mcdonald's for making people fat. People need to take some responsibility and realize they made the choice, what's worse, someone who sells a deadly product to people, or the people who willfully ingest a deadly product knowing the risk?

BT could sell straight, pure, unadulterated chopped tobacco inside a cellulose wrapper with no fire ......ant chemicals and people would STILL smoke. The source of the problem is people's choices to begin smoking, not BT's business model or product.

Just my two cents of course, and I mean no offense to anyone that feels otherwise, as I can and do understand and respect that opinion.

And yeah, I'm still baffled why there is a dedicated section for this product.... very strange to say the least.

Before we all lose faith in ECF, much like the Blu forum, I think it's in anticipation of newbies filling the boards with Vuse questions.

Dirty laundry isn't fun to look at and no one likes it, but it's still worth buying a hamper to keep it out of the middle of the room, right?

But it's not even on the market yet. Well maybe Colorado if they did release it there.
