Ever suffered a migraine? I've wanted to use a hammer to my forehead many times, so I found the article interesting. The photo did remind me of Wonder Woman, though.

Sometimes I think that would be a better option than the Imitrex I'm forced to take since they told me no more Advil.

I never heard of this one, but I had hopes for the magnetic pulse one. Too bad that company got approval and now isn't going to sell it preferring to come up with a new improved model to get approved and charge more for.

Depending on the price I'd try the Wonder Woman Tiara once a day to get fewer migraines.

From the study sited it doesn't appear to be a double blind protocol and doesn't test for placebo effect. If it works, GREAT, helpful inventions are always welcome....The Journal of Headache and Pain | Full text | Safety and patients¿ satisfaction of transcutaneous Supraorbital NeuroStimulation (tSNS) with the Cefaly® device in headache treatment: a survey of 2,313 headache sufferers in the general population

I may be wrong, I'm not a doctor AND didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night either...:)

RE: The FDA, "Does it look like smoking" --- "No" --- "OK, approved"...

I get cluster headaches every now and again when the stress piles on and those are 20 times worse than any migraine, regular migraine sufferer too so i know the pain :( Cluster headaches feel like somebody's stabbing a pin, then a nail, then a spear from the inside out they're awful, you become incredibly photo sensitive to the point where a tv glow... in another house, on another street, in another city can make you scream in pain and everything sounds like you've got your head stuck between 2 concert speakers. Awful stuff :(

I think they should approve Placebo. Have you seen how much stuff that works on? Everyone compares to it.

<<< see picture Im good at shock therapy :)

I suffer from migraines in cycles, I also have a pinched nerve in my neck that can be just as bad as a migraine but is very specific in its point of pain ( behind right eye, right sinus swells up and front of right ear( when I can "pop" my neck the pain subsides in minutes). I can tell when a migraine is coming on when I get " the white fuzzies" ( auras).

I too suffer from migraines, I have such bad ones that I can hear traffic lights change colors. I have migraines that can last for days, my doctor has yet to find a trigger or a cure (meds to help alleviate the pain). I live my life on Vicoden. But at times having a quiet vape has helped relax me enough to ease the pain and allow the meds to work a little better. Maybe get 0 nic for your wife for those times. A quiet room, nice serene view, relaxing drink and a vape may help her too. Worth a try. Oh, just make sure the device she is using doesn't whistle on the pull. That may make her want to kill you.:)

I have a couple of currently inoperable, fairly large brain cysts. I also have pseudo-tumor cerebri. I get severe thunderclap migraine headaches on a fairly regular basis in spite of the fact that I have regular lumbar punctures to help lower my CSF pressure and I take 1800mg of gabapentin daily. Sometimes the headaches are so severe, I have to go to the hospital and be placed on a morphine drip. Sometimes they are so bad, I just wish I was dead even with the morphine drip. Last May I had one that last for 11 straight days. I spent 5 of those 11 days in the hospital on morphine and under observation. If something could be invented that would stop my headaches once they began, it would be awesome.
