Seriously, you sound like a good candidate for a simple rebuildable dripping atomizer.

1. It's as consistent as you build it to be.
2. It can simulate a smoking session, drip 5-10 drops, vape until you can tell it's gone dry, put it away.
3. You'll get good vapor and flavor, better than any clearomizer.
4. Once you get good at rebuilding, it will take a minute to change wicks, a few minutes to completely wrap and replace a coil.
5. You won't ever HAVE to buy another one. (WANT is something else altogether).

C'mon you guys, username said right up front, before you even opened the thread, that it was a rant. Silly people, you opened it anyway, what were you thinking?

It also sounds like he (she?) is having problems because of the lack of WTAs, MOIAs or whatever. It's a real problem for some people. One of the few things I didn't have problems with but I bet you all were a bowl of cherries when you had to go without a smoke. I'll bet a box of premium crunchy treats username's demeanor changes once he finds what works for him (and they don't pull the rug out from under him again). Where's Andria and/or Rolygate when you need them?

Admittedly I haven't read all 20 comments here so maybe it's been cleared up, but I honestly don't know what the heck you are talking about. What clearomizer is only available from China and why would you have a bunch of "spent" clearomizers sitting around? Don't they have replacement heads? Also, um, sure smoking cigarettes is easier than vaping, so is breathing in asbestos, and the result is the same. Walking right out into the middle of oncoming traffic is easier than going all the way down the block to cross at the crosswalk too.

If username started two years or more ago, there are quite a few clearos that are rare now/aren't being produced. When I first started, I was all set to find and try the CE2 nanos because I read so many great things about them, but this was just before the protank came out, and I couldn't find them anywhere.

I have CE2 3 XL "Nanos" (not to be confused with Vision Nanos, which are a little different). They work brilliantly for what they are designed to do. One clearo for one flavor, you can't replace anything or clean them, you just keep filling them up until they die. Then you throw them away. They don't leak either.

They never went away, they just got pushed off the radar by the latest New Hot Toy.

Edit: It's CE3 XLs I like. I think the CE2s had the string wicks.

Hmm, never heard of that before. Sounds more like a cartomizer. It's time for the OP to change his set up though. Or just go back to smoking and stop blaming his impatience on the aesthetics of e-cigs.

Yeah, you were the one who made me look into them, I just couldn't find any at the vendors I was using at the time. It's ok, the lack of a decent clearo pushed me to buy an aga-t, which sent me down the path that I'm on now. $20 worth of cotton and wire, and I'm set for years.

"Hot New Toys" force a lot of good products into the background. I finally found my ADV when Vivi Novas were the rage and it dissolved them. Tank Cracking flavors were not as well known then and it took some digging to figure out what was wrong. And since the ProTank was just a twinkle in Edward's eye, my only option for a tank was a glass carto tank. Talk about old school! It was only later they became popular again, but now they are old school once more - unless you put a Sophia or a Diver V2 in one.

The Aspire Nautilus seems to be the flavor of the week now. But, surprise, there seems to be a problem with that too http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...spire-nautilus-has-chromed-brass-chimney.html I've been using the Davides for over a year and happy as an embedded tick in a fat cat with them. The big trick is to find what you like and stick with it. Having said that, sometimes it's time to upgrade.

Username, you still awake? What equipment are you using?

I still have about a half dozen wrapped new Nano's. you know, for backup.
In case none of my other 29 liquid delivery options are working.

OP - you haven't found the right hardware for you yet.
Tell people a bit about what you need (besides nicotine) and get a few recommendations, and buy a better device.

THEN you get to go on the quest for good liquid.

This is the wild west, it's new technology, and there's a lot of choices, and a lot of stuff is "finicky" until YOU FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE IT WORK PROPERLY. That can be aggravating, but it can also be rewarding when you get a new bit of gear, and it's great.

Me, it's like a hobby for me - I found stuff I was pretty happy with right away, then replaced it with fancier stuff, and was happier, and again and again. You don't have to do THAT, but you do have to learn some stuff, and understand your first setup may not be what's right for you.

It doesn't have filler like a cartomizer. A CE3 XL is a little bottom coil clearo. (I mistyped when I wrote CE2 before, I meant 3.)

Argh! Yes, probably time for an upgrade, higher nic, or finding what's missing in what he's using. Shinyitus is often an infection, not in the genes.

I see e-cigs as a nicotine delivery system. I know some people just vape for the flavor and don't have any nicotine in what they're vaping, but I really wonder about them. Are they just trying to look cool? Are they hipsters? Are they the type of people who used to carry around Tic Tacs?

Wow! Thanks for making me feel young again! I love flavors and Tic Tacs! I guess I am a hipster....well except I'm a 50 year old parent with a steady job and a mortgage and I don't wear wool caps in summer, nor are my ear hooped in a some vein attempt to show how different I am from my parents middle class lifestyles. I guess you can't define a hipster so easily!

To the OP's credit, vaping is more difficult than smoking, and he's here ranting/looking for help instead of out there smoking. I never had to worry about the gas station not having my beloved Camels, or in the rare chance they were out of regulars, I could always buy a pack of 99's. Buying stuff that doesn't work for you is frustrating, especially if you see others online not having the same problems.

You're here, give us some more info, help us help you. What are you using right now?
